Hotel Rancho El Morillo is a cool peaceful sanctuary in the south side of Saltillo. Only 14 rooms, clean as a pin, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a working farm with a fine walking path. Tall trees provide a welcome shade, cooled by the breeze from the surounding mountains. El Morillo provides a welcome escape from the bustle, noise and... More

We love El Rancho Morillo. Norma the owner ( whose artist talents showed in her Xmas decorations) and her staff will make you feel at home. The property is an oasis in Saltillo-the grounds are lush and feels a million miles away from the frenetic pace of Saltillo. They even served us dinner even though we arrived quite late due... More

We stayed here because they accept dogs. We won't forget our stay because of the kindness, friendliness, thoughtfulness and care we received from Norma and her staff. Norma spent a lot of time finding us other pet friendly hotels on our route through Mexico. She even emailed us to make sure we didn't get lost. The accommodation was excellent, the... More

Rancho el Morillo offers beautiful grounds, and a very personable owner, Norma, who made us feel right at home. AC would have been nice, but it would have detracted from the ambience, This is an oasis away from the madness that is downtown Saltillo.

"WOW!"..is the word which comes to our mind when we first step into this beautiful Hotel..Filled and surrounded by Greenery and scenic views. The in-chargers are extremely Hospitable. We were 12 friends who had been there for 3 days and were extremely taken care of. (right from booking cabs for us, suggesting the best, safe places to visit, explaining the significance... More

While working on a project in Saltillo in 1980 I happened upon El Morillo and lived there for several months. Since then I've stayed there when in Saltillo and shared a drink and chat with family members. I began to feel like a family member. El Morillo still maintains the old world charm, the beautiful gardens, the immaculate accommodations and... More

I stayed at El Morrillo for three weeks, and loved every minute I spent here. The hotel is a beautiful, old hacienda, set on a property that was always blooming with flowers,no matter how parched the rest of the city seemed to be. Behind the hotel is the "huerta" -- twenty-something acres, which includes a quince and pear orchard, a... More

This is a beautiful family run hacienda that makes you feel totally welcome. The property is gorgeous and the food is very good. You can even go on a nice run and enjoy their homemade Quince Liquor. They have a beautiful swimming pool and a dip is very refreshing after a day of sightseeing in Saltillo.

My wife and I stayed at Rancho El Morillo for our first two nights in a two month long trip through Mexico. The family that owns the Hotel was very friendly and helpful. We loved the beautiful property and the quiet location. We had our own transportation and the hotel is just a short ride away from the historic center.... More

If you were to be a writter, this is perfect for a little and relaxing getaway. The place is beautiful and comfortable soft beds... Just be wise what road to take you there.. You might end up in downtown and is HO-RRI-BLE!!!! so many people and traffic is stressful enough to make you almost kiss the ground when you reach... More
