One of the most comfortable, colourful and relaxing places we have ever stayed. Jenny and her menagerie including Colette the Pig are charmingly eccentric but, make no mistake, this place is beautifully run. We were lucky enough to be there when the whales were passing through. Although the beach isn’t safe for swimming there are other places up the coast where you can swim and surf. Hotelito has a lovely saltwater lap pool heated with solar panels which is the perfect temperature with silky water. Todos Santos is a really charming town. Lots of delicious places to eat and galleries etc to visit. Jenny knows the area well and is only to happy to share her knowledge. Staff are delightful. What more can I say? We loved it here.
The owner, Jenny, and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room with patio was comfortable. Jenny left written information with tips about local restaurants. We so enjoyed our breakfasts and meeting the other American and foreign travelers. The Hotelito is a bit tricky to locate, so take a map with you from the website if you do not have GPS. The galleries and shops in Todos Santos are very special. Take time to drive or walk to the beach down the long dusty road. We were treated to seeing gray whale babies very close to shore. We so enjoyed our 3 days and nights here!
I loved my stay here! Breakfast was delicious, the staff was so friendly, and the rooms were clean, large, and thoughtfully decorated. The outdoor spaces have plenty of lounging area, including a super cozy hammock!
As soon as you see the gate you know you have arrived in the right spot. The individual rooms are ablaze with colour and it is perfect inside and out. The most comfortable bed a fabulous shower and a lovely space to have a morning breakfast. I especially liked the granola, yogurt and fresh fruit breakfast bowl and the shot of tequila nightcap at the end of the day. There is always freshly made juice to take the edge of your thirst off if you return at any time of the day. The swimming pool is good and the whole place has just a great and relaxing vibe. This time of the year you can watch the grey whales pass within yards of the shore Jenny is of course a fund of local knowledge and if you want to escape the swanky art galleries my favourite was the faces of Mexico museum where I bought a really nice 50’s ceramic head. I rate this as 11 out of 10…
This is a gem of a hotel, bursting with color and wonderful flourishes. Every detail has been carefully chosen -- from the beautiful fabrics in the rooms to the plants and (let's not forget) the hotel's pot-bellied pig. Jenny is a very gracious host, the staff was super attentive, and breakfast very tasty. I'd go back in a heart beat. Great value for a unique experience.
