For $150+++ USD per night, this "minimalist to the MAX" place misses the mark by a mile, but review the attached photos & decide for yourself. Staff were polite & courteous & the facility has solid housekeeping, but it was like going to a summer camp when you were young. VERY basic accommodations. Mattresses rest on cement stands & the headboards & end tables are all cement. A small wooden table like something you may have built in boy/girl scouts & NOTHING else. Not a chair in sight. Bathrooms look like the plumbing fixtures never arrived. Lovely appearing place on the exterior & the bar is quite nice, with the exception of playing the music at night way too loud, & the bartender should be cautioned about stating: "we prefer our tips in cash" as soon as a guest requests the bill. We had no trouble with noise since the hotel was at least 1/2 empty, but noise would certainly be an issue if the rooms were more fully occupied. This place is yet one more example of Todos Santos being "over-priced" in general, compared to the quality provided.

Overall we loved our stay at Casa Tota, though we'll likely look elsewhere for our next stay. The in-town location is fantastic, the decor/vibe is appealing, the staff generally helpful, and the rooms clean and comfortable. Our first 3 days were awesome, with the caveat that we were one of the few guests staying in the hotel. The last night the hotel was mostly filled with a wedding party that arrived late and had very little regard for anyone else around them. You can hear EVERYTHING if other guests are loud and the hotel staff seemed pretty reluctant to address the late night activity. If you do decide to stay here, plan on either getting lucky regarding your fellow guests or bringing some very good earplugs!

Casa Tota is a small boutique hotel. It is quiet, beautiful, clean, modern and no frills. If you are looking for a quiet oasis, this is for you. If you are looking for something bigger and lively then this might not be the place you want. The pool is lovely and they also have a roof top patio area that has a great view and is very relaxing.

It is conveniently located in the historic downtown and you can walk to everything very easily. The historic downtown is small, quiet and charming. It is very peaceful and safe.

The restaurant is also very good. Everything was fresh and delicious. My salad was so fresh, I was like "did you just pick the lettuce?" Even the fruit that came with our meals was fresh and yummy. They also had some of the best pancakes I have ever had. So even if you aren't staying at the hotel, it's a great option to eat.

Next door is a cute bar called Alchemia which has live music on Friday night. Don't worry, they are quiet after 10pm so it should not disturb your sleep :) .

Don't stay here if you are bothered by loud noise at night. The attached bar has LOUD music until 11pm 3 nights per week, then the crowd lingers and the noise from the bar ends around 11:30pm. I would never have stayed here had I known this in advance. I paid $250 per night to be exhausted on my vacation because I couldn't sleep due to the music and street noise. We started in a junior suite and then moved to the first floor to try to remedy the noise, but the music was just as loud on the first floor. The staff was not apologetic and I would have changed hotels mid-vacation had their been availability elsewhere. The receptionist said he would ask a manager about a refund, but I never heard from the manager.

We stayed here for a couples get away and to explore Todos Santos for the first time. The hotel was cute, clean and charming. The rooms are simple but yet still provide you with what you need (except a hair dryer - bring your own). The staff were very welcoming. The pool is centrally located in the middle of the hotel but it was very quiet. There are roof top patios available for lounging. The hotel has a restaurant and bar (actually two bars) attached. Hotel Casa Tota is located in the city center. It was perfect for walking around the city to shop, check out historic landmarks or dine out. They had plenty of off street parking. WiFi is available in the restaurant and hotel rooms but I found that in the room it wasn’t as reliable. We’ll definitely return if we are in the area again.

This is a very attractive property with pleasant and helpful staff. That said, it was a disappointment, particularly given the price. The rooms are incredibly noisy, for one thing. Part of this is the design, with all the rooms facing a small courtyard and a tiny pool. We could hear every word said by anyone in the courtyard, where people lie out on the only furniture available and talk on their phones. But the noise problem is made worse by the fact that the room walls and floor are entirely concrete, with no soft surfaces, like cloth drapes, furniture, or wall hangings, to absorb the noise. Furthermore, our room had no chairs or other places to sit, not even one. It didn't have a coffee maker, either. These are standard features in moderately expensive lodgings world wide, but they are absent. Finally, our bathroom smelled of sewer. The odor wasn't overwhelming, but it was noticeable and caused us to leave the bathroom window open, making the courtyard noise even worse. This hotel seemed to have decided to sacrifice comfort for "modernism." We would never even consider going back.

We have stayed at Casa Tota numerous times but will never go back. We had 3 friends going for weekend. One friend had to cancel and did so 3 days in advance. When two of us arrived they charged us her room cancellation and stated calcelations had to be made TWO WEEKS prior. In addition the bar next to hotel has loud awful band playing until the morning hours. The room had no TV and was in need of paint job.

Todos Santos ain't cheap! The night we stayed here, this hotel gave us a rate that was just double the rate of the hostel, and it was so worth that price: unlike the hostel, this is centrally located and we got our own room and bathroom! The property is gorgeous - a lovely, romantic boutique hotel that makes you feel like you are somewhere special. Our bed was HUGE. It was too cold to swim, but the pool is lovely. They don't have secure parking, but assured us that they had a security guard that monitored the parking lot, and indeed, our motorcycles were just fine in the morning. Super friendly staff and breakfast, not included, was divine.

I wanted a secure hotel to stay in Todos Santos for a concert series. Every time I passed by on other trips it always looks festive with lights on the patio outside. I loved my week here at Hotel Casa Tota in Todos Santos. The drinks are really good and the coffee bar is great in the am. We liked the guacamole. The terraza on the roof has a 360 view of the city and ocean. We lounged on the sofas on the upper deck, sunbathed by the pool in the interior, and enjoyed pleasant walks to the cultural arts museum, shops, and to our nightly concert series. There is a bookstore nearby too! Special thanks to Reception help from Damaris who answered all my questions and helped me secure an extra night! Great experience!

The hotel is clean and located in the center of town. But the rooms are very basic. Except for the mattress, there are no other real furniture in the room. Everything is made out of concrete including the bed frame, nightstand, table, sink etc. The room is very small. The only windows are facing the pool and it gets super loud. Not a place you should stay for long and it's certainly not relaxing. Luckily we were only here for 1 night. Todos Santos is really a place to just drive by for a quick stop. I would recommend moving onto the coast area for the beautiful beaches and much better amenities.
