Just a quick note to say how incredible this place is. We had an amazing time at your property, words don’t even do it justice. We have been fortunate to travel most of the world and I can say that Villa Santa Cruz is arguably our most favorite hotel/compound/experience yet. Something about it seemed magical, and I am already itching to get back. I’ve been signing your praises to my network in Seattle and hope to share our experience with others. Just promise you don’t change that place one bit 😊. In a constantly growing and evolving world, some things are better left “as is”. Your place is perfect!
This was our first time in Todos Santos and we could not have picked a better place to stay. It is right on the beach with a feet-in-the-sand fun restaurant (plus another excellent restaurant back at the main house) and just a short and, I must say, very fun ride into town. The area is safe so driving around isn't a problem and parking in Todos Santos is easy. The staff there are really service oriented and very helpful. The rooms are all different and just beautiful. Breakfast was included and was just fantastic - fresh squeezed juice or "jugo verde," fresh exotic fruits, lots of different egg choices. They bring little muffins and coffee or tea to your room even before breakfast in case you are an early riser and want to watch the sunrise. (The sunrise and sunset views are perfect!). Lots of good cocktails and food. We had excellent meals both at the hotel restaurant and at The Green Room on the beach. The young area is lovely with a fireplace as well. Hotel is gorgeous- very well maintained with lots of very different room choices. We stayed in suites in the main building which was very nice - ours had sea views which I would recommend. There is some noise from the kitchen though. There are also very private bungalows and even some on the beach clamping tents. I might opt for a bungalow next time - even though they are right next to the beautiful pool and hot tub - they face the sea so no privacy issues. Lots to do in Todos Santos - we took the hotel's recommendations for a tour company and did a cooking class, rode horses on the beach and did and amazing hike up into the mountains. Shopping and strolling n Todos Santos is lots of fun too. The place has got horses just wandering around, chickens, dogs and cats. It's a world away from tacky and touristy Cabo San Lucas, which I would avoid like the plague. Really worth a trip. We spent four nights which was just about right.…
This was my third time here at VSC. Just as amazing as the first. Had different rooms which are actually my favorite so far, inside the villa itself. Staff are to be commended for their extreme and gracious hospitality. Kitchen staff accommodated my gf/v diet without raising an eyebrow. The food, drinks, views, comfort, hospitality that is genuine not fake, exceed expectations. Big gracias to the staff… Chuy, Azul, Tere, Yanni, Monse, Aaron, Marco, Paul, and others we didn’t learn their names. During our stay there was construction. The noise was minimal and didn’t interfere with the tranquility of the land and sea. Almost don’t want to share this!
I just got back from a weekend trip with my girlfriends and could not recommend this place more highly. They truly were on top of everything from booking to check out; no detail was lost. The staff was SO friendly and helpful! The location, villas, pool—everything is so well kept and beautiful. From the ease of WhatsApp-ing breakfast orders to getting excellent food and cocktails at the pool, Villa Santa Cruz is the BEST. Thank you for such an unforgettable weekend!! Special shout out to Azucena for being our fantastic point of contact, Paul and Carolle for the help, and Chuey for the poolside Mezcalitas! Muchas gracias!
We chose VSC to stay for 4 nights for the days leading up to and after our elopement in Todos Santos - staying in both the Beach Bungalow (Palma) and the Sierra Suite in the North Villa. Both rooms were exceptional with stunning views of the ocean. The grounds are so well kept and beautiful. The small details - like coffee and juice at the door in the morning and little treats before bedtime make this place extra special. Room service breakfast was wonderful, all of the cocktails were amazing and we saw some of the most beautiful sunsets. A very special thank you to Carol, Marco and Victor for making our stay memorable - but truly all of the staff were amazing! You can tell that the staff is like a family and they all work together very well. It was the quiet, romantic end to our 14 day trip in Baja California that we really needed. We loved listening to the sound of the waves crashing as we fell asleep. Not to mention, the coziest robes we have ever experienced in our lives! Thank you VSC, we will be back one day!…
My wife and I just got back from 4 nights at Villa Santa Cruz, and we're already planning our next trip. We stayed in one of the newer tented ocean suites, and it was fantastic! The rooms are super nice, and we especially liked the soak tub and the private fire pit on the sand, steps away from our room. The owners have done an excellent job integrating the hotel and grounds into the natural landscape of the property. The staff are all super nice and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily, and was delicious, as were the MANY mezcalitas at the pool. The property also hosts the Green Room beachfront restaurant, which was also super tasty. I'd highly recommend the shrimp and octopus tacos and tostadas. You'll want to get reservations here, as it is VERY popular. We can't wait to get back to Todos Santos, and specifically the Villa Santa Cruz!!…
You need to stay at the Villa Santa Cruz in Baja’s Todos Santos. I have always been a big fan of Baja. But, I have found my new favorite spot in Todos Santos. The Villa Santa Cruz is 13 km or 25 minutes North of Punta Lobos and only 15 minutes North of Hotel California Todos Santos and the main drag in town. Punta Lobos is where you will find local fishermen heading out in their Pangas; it is also home to the beautiful yet stuffy Hotel San Cristóbal. When you get to the Villa Santa Cruz, there is almost nothing there. It is perfect. The hotel is backed by Baja palms, sand dunes, and an agave farm. There are 15 rooms total, each unique. We stayed in the brand-new Tented Ocean Suites. These luxury tents are 60 feet from the water at high tide, and the sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep each night. The Tented Ocean Suites each have their very own fire pit on the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. You can also watch the sunset from the treehouse, which offers incredible vistas from Punta Lobos in the South to as far North as the eye can see. At night you can dine either at the hotel itself or the beachfront restaurant called The Green Room, which offers some of the freshest fish I've ever had and some of the smoothest Mezcal from Oaxaca. I recommend the Rosarito Beach Rolls with smoked tuna and Calafia with sea bass sashimi with serrano and soy sauce. I highly recommend looking into Villa Santa Cruz in Baja's Todos Santos!…
Villa Santa Cruz is a very unique and beautiful place. The style of the hotel blends in very well with the landscape and culture. You feel like part of a story. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The comfort of the rooms was very high and all facilities were in very good shape. Thanks for the nice stay! We'll be back!
We just got back from our trip to Todos Santos where we rented out Villa Santa Cruz for my husband's 40th Birthday. We had 21 people total in our group and we had the best 4 nights ever! The staff at the Villa worked with me for months planning out all of the details for our guests during our stay. We held a cocktail hour on the rooftop and a pool party where they served a taco buffet. They also helped arrage dinner at the Green Room resturant that is steps away from their property. The service, food and accomidations were all perfect!! If you are looking for a place for a wedding, family reunion, large party or just a romatic getaway, this is your place!! We will go back for sure!
I just spent 4 night at Villa Santa Cruz for a wedding. This is one special place. The Villa is spectacular! I had a villa on the beach, less than 40 ft to the water. Slept every night to the sounds of the beach. When I woke up, I had tea waiting for me on my front "porch". Beautifully appointed bungalow - comfy!!!! The pool was great, the food at the villa and a neighboring restaurant (The Green Room) was out of sight! Seafood - perfect! Great staff - conscientious and approachable. If you are looking for a A++++ place and do not mind the 1.5 hour drive from the airport (it is well worth it), then the Villa is yours. You will not forget the sunsets, food, pool or the beautifully appointed rooms (with good WiFI)!
