We recently spent a week at Los Colibris Casitas in Mr. Bing's Place. It exceeded every expectation. The photos do not begin to do justice. This was a total immersion of escapism with it's lush grounds and privacy. It was truly a place to unplug. Our casita was immaculate. We slept with the screen doors open to the sounds of crashing waves. We felt especially safe on this trip. Our hosts were helpful but not intrusive. As we traveled about Mexico in our rental car we felt safe knowing that they would have come to help us had we had any car trouble, etc. It was a treat to experience the wonderful breakfasts created in Chef Iker's Cafe. We took a cooking class and enjoyed his passionate joy for cooking. From our private patio we were able to watch whales breaching throughout our trip. They were very close to shore most of the time. We also enjoyed the swimming beach a short drive away. In Todos Santos we found gourmet food preparation in every type of restaurant from French dining to fish tacos on the beach. The entire trip was a delight.

Los Colibris offers a remote and tranquil setting to truly decompress. Tucked up in the hills above Todos Santos, the grounds are gorgeous and the views are spectacular. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and very clean. And breakfast is second to none. A few tips: - the hotel is quite remote. It’s not really walkable from town. Be aware of this if you don’t have a car. Taxis will come up, but you have to plan for this. - the roads are rough. Likely better suited to a 4x4 than a sedan. - there isn’t food available on-site outside of breakfast. Plan accordingly (see point 1 above). Bryan and Sergio and lovely and very hospitable. They do everything they can to make your visit enjoyable. And the resident dogs and cats make the atmosphere extra warm and friendly. If you’re looking to truly zen out, this is a good option.

Thank you so much for staying with us at Los Colibris and taking the time to share your experience here! We're so pleased that you loved your room, breakfast, grounds, views and the furry hosts so much. Los Colibris really does prove what has long been the truth of Baja - the best places are found at the end of a bumpy dirt road! Having said that, a 4x4 is not necessary for navigating the roads of Todos Santos / Los Colibris unless you simply want the feeling of some extra power. Our errand car that we use for going back and forth to town every day is just an old hatchback. Many of our guests who don't want to rent a car like to walk into town then take a taxi back as it is only takes 25 minutes or so to walk and 5-10 minutes to drive, but it is great to have a plan as you suggest. Many thanks for all the kind words and we hope to see you again one day soon.

We stayed at Los Colibris Casitas with our 9 year old grandson on a Thompson Family Adventures trip. Los Colibris is a very nice laid back place to stay with excellent rooms, outside furniture and great ocean views. We had the three bed unit, 2 twins and a King, and it was comfortable and generally great. The main room was large as was the bathroom. There was a full kitchen, which we didn't use, and a large dining table. - Breakfasts are delicious with a nice variety to select from. It's also nice to eat breakfast outside in the midst of tropical greenery. The three of us also had a great cooking class from Iker, the chef. Several times we were packed lunches for the day and they two were generous and delicious. -- You would want a car to go out for dinner, since dinner is not served at Los Colibris, and it would be a fairly long 20-30 minute walk to the edge of Todos Santos to find a restaurant, The road in to Los Colibris from the main paved road in Todos Santos is full of ruts and potholes, but that is the same as for a number of local roads.

We had a fantastic week in Todos Santos, thanks in large part to our hosts and accomodations at Los Colibris Casitas. The gardens are magnificent and the view is the the best you'll find anywhere. The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the casitas are beautiful and comfortable. Being animal lovers, we enjoyed interacting with our furry hosts as well (Zorro, Juliette, Panda(monium), Fluke and Bobette were frequent visitors. Only moderate negative is the road to get to the casitas, but if it was right next to town, it wouldn't have the view and wouldn't feel as special! We loved it and couldn't recommend it more!

We stayed at this hotel in July 2019, great experience, the place is exactly as in the photographs, great service, clean, far from the downtown, so that you can relax... it is important to mention that the access to the beach is not easy...
