Travelers' Choice
Named in honor of St. Christopher, patron of travelers, surfers, sailors and protector during long journeys, Hotel San Cristobal Punta Lobos sits on the beach on the southwestern edge of the Baja peninsula in Todos Santos, Mexico. Positioned along the Tropic of Cancer and framed by the Sierra de la Laguna mountains, Punta Lobos, and the Pacific Ocean, there is something about the quality of light. This place is an absolute dream. My mom had been twice and recommended it to my husband and I for our honeymoon. We went over New Years 2020-2021 and the covid protocol is on point, there are very few people staying there (small hotel), the scenery and rooms are astounding and the staff is so incredibly nice. Dolce absolutely made the experience. She is phenomenal. I cried when I left since she was just so very nice. I can't wait to go back!

Unlike most of Cabo, Hotel Cristobal is completely secluded from the touristy, party vibes of Cabo. The hotel is stylish in decor and architecture with stunning access to what feels like a private beach. Prime seats above the ocean is perfect for sunset. The staff are friendly and attentive. Drinks and fresh seafood also delight! Stay as a guest or visit for a dream escape from the hype of Cabo.

My husband and I eloped at Hotel San Cristobal in October 2020 and it surpassed our wildest dreams. If you are thinking of an elopement, wedding, or private event here...just do it! Judy and Ileana were so lovely and made the planning process super easy. We trusted their guidance on everything from vendors to schedule and location, and everything turned out perfectly. They even made my bouquet! Jessyka, the head concierge (and our *amazing* wedding videographer), was so warm and friendly and made our stay so special. She helped us arrange massages, horseback riding, and took us on a magical hike the morning of our wedding. My recommendation is to try to get to know the crew at HSC -- they are a wonderful, friendly group of people with great stories and recommendations. We so enjoyed getting to know them. The food and drinks here are also incredible - there was a different drink special every day and we ate almost everything on the menu. Our favorite was the fish sandwich, which is made with fresh fish caught at the local fishing beach adjacent to the property. If you are thinking "is the ocean view room worth it?"....let me tell you - YES. You will get to see the most BEAUTIFUL sunsets every night from your spacious balcony while you hear the waves crash and sip on a mescal margarita...it is pure magic and worth every extra dollar. The hotel took COVID precautions seriously, which we appreciated. Todos Santos doesn't have a big hospital so people look out for each other. Wear a mask!

Welcome to easy living with low-key, stress-free days. From the moment we were picked up at the airport till the moment we were dropped off to head back home..........I was relaxed. I recommend using the Todos Santos Private Transportation to get from the airport to Hotel San Cristobal. The hotel and transportation company worked together to set everything up for me. I received a number of emails answering my questions and confirming the details. The driver was waiting on us, as expected, in the proper location, as expected. It was very nice getting out of the airport without having to wrestle with any paperwork or long lines for the rental cars. We took a pitstop at COSTCO and loaded up the Suburban with a few items like Topo Chico, wine, and beer. The highway to the hotel was very new and in good condition. Our driver had a small cooler of water and beer. The hotel greeted us with smiles and they were all wearing proper COVID ppe. Our room was number 10. It is on the first floor and on the corner near the patio of the main dining room. Just a few steps away from the pool. I used the balcony wall as my main way into and out of my room. The patio has a very comfortable couch/seating area and a hammock. I slept on the patio couch on the nights when there was a breeze. It was some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. The rooms are a nice size and tastefully decorated. We had our own individually controlled a/c. No t.v. thank goodness..... The pool and dual hot tubs were amazing. I recommend laying next to the hot tub with one leg in the tub and one leg in the pool. Jonathan and the crew serving food and drinks by the pool were great. They were attentive and not annoying. Very low key and cool attitudes but also very professional and friendly. All of the food was EXCELLENT. My favorite would be the shrimp quesadillas. Although everything was very yummy. We decided to venture into town and took a private car from the hotel to The Green Room. I would recommend this because a cab might get you to the green room. But it is a little out of the todos santos city area and you might not get a cab back as quickly as you like. The town was cute. nice shops and nice people. there was no point where i felt uneasy or nervous. Such a fun experience. Side note: All of the people we met at the hotel were cool in their own kinda way. It seems as if this hotel attracts that type of person. I exchanged numbers with more than a few people and look forward to meeting up with them again in the U.S. to hang out more. Thank you to everyone at the hotel. I really had a great time.

I heard about Hotel San Cristobal in the past and wanted to stay here at some point but our plans took us to La Paz and Los Cabos ultimately so the next best step to try to experience this place was to at least stop for lunch on the way, and I am so glad we did! The property is beautiful; after getting off the main road and taking "the adventure" on the sand road (if I didn't know what's waiting at the end I would probably second guested my self couple times before arriving and give into my wife's doubts ehhe) you arrive at a small oasis right on the waterfront! Secluded and intimate - very nice property. As to the lunch - we didn't eat at Benno's but at the hotel's pool bar and had an amazing lunch - probably one of our favorite during the Baha California Sur trip! Food and drinks (they grow many fruits on the spot so I highly recommend taking advantage of their Mango or Pineapple Margaritas!) were delicious, views and ambiance astounding and service super friendly. Highly recommend at least for a stop, and if you can afford staying here you will fall in love with it pretty fast!
