I cannot begin to explain how magical this place is. The only word that comes to mind is otherworldly! The combination of landscapes and architecture make for something truly beautiful. We spent so much time just sitting and taking it all in. The accommodations, staff and food were all amazing. Make sure to check out the different adventure options with the hotel before your stay. We rented a ATV for a self guided tour that went through the mountains and to a beautiful beach. You seriously can’t go wrong
This place is an absolute dream. My mom had been twice and recommended it to my husband and I for our honeymoon. We went over New Years 2020-2021 and the covid protocol is on point, there are very few people staying there (small hotel), the scenery and rooms are astounding and the staff is so incredibly nice. Dolce absolutely made the experience. She is phenomenal. I cried when I left since she was just so very nice. I can't wait to go back!
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! I don't even know where to start and where to end. The staff are all AMAZING, it was like being on vacation with all of your best friends and family. Stunning views, amazing pool and beach lounge set ups, extremely clean grounds, facilities and rooms and out of this world food and service. We did cooking classes, private beach fire with smores and surfing, all of which were highlights of our trip. The hotel concierge helps arrange everything including top notch transportation and services. Our trip was to celebrate a birthday and they went above and beyond to make everything so special. I have traveled to many places and this was the first place I never wanted to leave and had me contemplate staying forever. Worth every dollar (peso) :) !!!!!!!!!
Hotel San Cristobal is like nothing else I have ever experienced. The accommodations are superlative, the food is out of this world, but what really makes this place unique is the Hotel Staff and Management. They somehow manage to make each guest feel like the most important guest on the property. My fiancee and I have made Hotel San Cristobal and Todos Santos our number 1 favorite spot to vacation.
This is a long overdue review. We stayed with another couple in Jan 2022 and our trip is an annual one without kids. The Good- the hotel is spectacular, the design is amazing, everything is clean, and everything worked well. It felt very well maintained. The location is great, secluded enough to be away from the Cabo masses but close to surrounding towns so it’s close to go to town for dinner. The hotel was very relaxing, we hung out by the pool all day long almost everyone day. The food at the hotel was very good, especially in the main restaurant but I general we found it to be very limited at both the main and pool restaurants. The not so good- we found the service to be lacking. More in a confused, disorganized, lack of training way not necessary a lack of trying way. We had to basically beg for our waters to be refilled throughout the day, remind the staff of our missing food or drink orders and were frustrated with so much pushback over things that were a slight deviation from the normal. It should be noted we are NOT high maintenance guests. We’re alway polite and understanding, and don’t ask for much, but this is a beach vacation destination and refilling guests water throughout the day should be standard operating procedure, not a request. Drinks often came mixed up or wrong, and when we requested the correct item the waits were lengthy. We found the lunch/pool menu to be very limited with only a few items so we requested off menu items a few times, which was also met with confusion, pushback and chaos. Think a fruit platter or something from the breakfast menu, we’re not talking about major deviations here. Most of the time the requests were met, but it took a lot of convincing and negotiating, not something a guest should ever have to face for a reasonable request. I’d also like to see some sort of afternoon treats passed out at the pool area. Fruit, sorbet, could drinks, something. Most resorts we’ve ever been to have done that. Lastly, the pool seating reservation situation was annoying. There aren’t enough loungers for all the guests so people wake up early to secure spots. They should think about expanding the seating down to the beach as an overflow area. My general assessment of San Cristobal is it has the makings of an amazing boutique hotel, and if the service can be worked out, it will be one of the better places to visit in all of Mexico. I read they recently hired a new chef so maybe that will change things.…
This is my 4th visit to Hotel San Cristobal and every time I go fall more in love with this property and Todos Santos. The hotel is beautifully tucked into a cove off a stretch of dirt road. We typically never leave the property but if you do there are many good restaurants now in Todos Santos. Benno the restaurant at the hotel is by far the best option though . From breakfast to dinner the food is fresh, innovative and delicious. We usually get an ocean view room and love the size and view from the room. There are many great hikes from the property that go to other beautiful coves and in one area you can see many sea lions tanning on the rocks. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and clean. And a great sunset view every night we are there. It’s also a beautiful walking beach . The water is too rough to swim in. It’s beautiful to watch the fisherman fish off the shore. At night from our balcony the star gazing is amazing. The best part is the service at this hotel, every waiter, housekeeper, front desk person is extremely nice and go over and beyond to make our trip perfect. Although I’ve in the past rented a car and drove the 45 minutes from the Cabo airport, I used Todos Santos Private Transportation this time and had great service !…
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, but what really impressed us was the help we got from Daniel at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, understanding and went out of his way to assist us. We were here for a wedding and it was absolutely stunning, wonderful attention to detail. Great rooms! Still, Daniel's assistance was the highlight. Thank you!!
We spent six nights at HSC with our two adult kids. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is beautifully situated on a gorgeous, quiet beach just a ten-minute drive to Todos Santos. The hiking trails are incredible. And so many whales swimming by! The property is really lovely. Everywhere your eye lands is a thoughtful design detail. Yes, it's instagram friendly, but it's also legitimately pretty. Our rooms were simple but spacious and comfortable. We loved the sitting areas and indoor/outdoor showers. The common spaces are also great. We never had an issue finding pool chairs or cozy spots for sunset cocktails (the drinks are amazing!). The food is wonderful, at both the pool bar and at Benno. We had two amazing meals prepared with fish we caught on a morning fishing excursion with local fisherman Agustin (truly spectacular ceviche and sashimi). But the best part were the staff, who were accommodating, attentive, and gracious. I felt very well cared for - it was just the relaxing break our family needed after a very difficult year. Muchisimas gracias!…
My husband and I have wanted to stay here for a while! We booked 3 nights after staying at a different hotel in downtown Todos and we have been underwhelmed. The food and location are top notch — but the service does not match what you pay for. They did not clean are room 2 of the days we stayed there, there are not enough lounge chairs to accommodate the # of guests they have, they care more about the photos one might post to Instagram than actually providing top level service. The food is outstanding and decently priced. The location is exceptional — with access to a great swimming beach and hiking trails. However, given the price/room @ $600/night all in — I would not stay here again — I would just come for dinner. Disappointed but thankful we didn’t book our whole trip here. Will not stay here again,…
My husband and I are avid travelers. We have been to this establishment in the past and patronized hundreds of dollars. New ownership wouldn’t allow us to patronize. We were not welcome. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Very rude and Un inviting. They do not value you or your money. Take it elsewhere.
