Made a reservation through a travel website, got a confirmation number. Got to the hotel, and for whatever reason . . . they said they had some of the details, but not all (and I'm not quite sure what that means, other than they have no clue what they're doing!). Bottom line, they would not honor the price I'd already...

The wifi is not great. It wouldn't work in the evening, but worked in the morning. There was a wad of gum stuck to the wall next to my pillow. You could hear people coughingin neighboring rooms. I was prepared for the simple breakfast thanks to other reviews and it was fine for my kids; except they only offer coffee....

The good - room was spotlessly clean, air conditioning worked well, comfortable bed. I used the services of the driver to go downtown, and to border - very personable, friendly. The bad - others have commented about the breakfast. Breakfast was 'included'. Went to pleasant breakfast room and asked how it works i.e. sit down and be served. Sat down...

Clean room, hot shower, clean towels bottled water, horrible bed. The bed was sinking in the middle. Breakfast was some fruit and couple slices of white bread.. really bomb tacos about a block away though!! Probably would never stay here again though. Staff also speaks very limited english and airport shuttle only does drop offs no pick ups. Do not...

This a great economy hotel near both border crossings and the Tijuana airport. Don't let your room number and the lack of an elevator scare you off, your room number might say 401 but your room is really on the 1st floor ( one large flight up). I was dreading a long hike up four flights of stairs but relived...

I was located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The hotel was clean & bug free. I stayed for 5 nights & it was quiet all 5 nights which included one weekend. The staff was very helpful, especially one worker named Martin. The hotel is close to the airport. I only had a small carry-on so I walked from...

This will be my last time at this business. After 10 pm I called the front desk to report a noise coming from next door. They told me the noise wa originated because of a mechanic shop they work after hours. Finally they put me in another room but I won't recommended this place....

The Principado is probably the closest hotel to the Tijuana airport that is listed on any of the travel sites. It's pretty basic but the room was comfortable and clean. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They were all really great. Another big plus is that they have very secure parking so if you are driving, this...

Stayed there after a long flight. The room was neat and clean. Way better than Motel 8 or similar hotels in US. Continental breakfast is a major plus! A pharmacy and Oxxo store next to hotel also very convenient. Will stay there again if I return toTJ. Cabs are parked outside waiting for customers. King size bed was comfortable. The...

I will definitely be staying here again. My first impression from the outside, was that it would noisy being so close to the Tijuana airport but that was not the case. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed a little stiff for me but once I got to sleep, I slept like a rock. The promotional breakfast was great...

“I am not sure what I can add to help choose a room but my tip would be to bring your own washcloth because they do not provide one. I have noticed this at other hotels I have visited & this was my mistake for not being prepared.”

“We were in room 201 and the only window offered a view of the hallway. If you have a need for outside light, this room isn't for you. I have no idea why they would even bother to put a window in this location but I found it rather comical.”
