I have been staying in this hotel for years. I will never stay anywhere else when I am in TJ. It is very nice and has the friendliest staff. They have just done some remodeling and the rooms are nice and up to date.
Was allowed early arrival at 12 PM. The room was a redone room on the 28th floor overlooking the golf course, spacious corner room. Decent continental breakfast. Everything was in order and the help was very nice and accommodating.

I was not provided the service from Otay Mesa land crossing. They will not provide that service. Either take uber or public transport from SD Airport to the San Ysidro border and then cross the border and take a local taxi to Grand Hotel or call the front desk and check if they provide service from SY border crossing. They may provide service from TJ International airport. In Mexico bargain with the taxi driver. It may cost 7-8 dollars .
