We, family of four, stayed here for a night -- they gave us a room in one of the detached buildings from the resort -- with "partial" views. The entrance to the room looks like a motel and the door was so flimsy, anyone could very easily break in. The towels were supremely dirty and the water had such a... More

This hotel is very close to the beach and you can hear the waves at night but the rooms need to be remodeled. You can hear the people upstairs and anyone that is talking outside the room sounds like they are in your room. The parking is awful doesn't feel secure to leave your car there and the entrance is... I've been coming to this place for years. Originally it was a small hotel with a cute little bar. Old style Mexican, quaint, clean and great service. In later years they added a restaurant which in the beginning was pretty good but since then not so good. In the past two years they added this huge event venue which I... More

rented a car in SF and drove down to San-D. With out budget we discovered it was cheaper to go stay in Mexico during this time in a beautiful hotel then a hostel in San-D. Staff friendly, helpful, except the front desk boy didnt speak good english and was confused on why we were there, they had a hard time... More

This hotel is a beautiful old authentic Mexican Hotel. The rooms are still needing updated however the view and the outside set up are amazing. The staff at the hotel are great with weddings and events!

As rustic as the CDM is, they know how to pull it all together and throw a top notch reception. Staff was excellent; Jessica, Flor, bartenders, waiters, desk girl all very very helpful. The decorator went above and beyond. The DJ kept thing rocking all night long. The food we had was a cordon blu kinda of dish, large portion... More

Simply aviod this hotel because overall expensive for Mexico plus:- 1. Difficult to find in dark since sign not illuminated. 2. No sign as to where reception office was located. 3. Staff surly and disinterested, would sooner be watching TV. 4. No water in toilet tank so could not flush. 5. No soap or shampoo. 6. No bottled water. 7.... More

Horrible hotel experience... I booked my wedding here and the hotel was the worst I have ever stayed... I don't even know where to start. The rooms were dirty, sheets and towels were dirty and stained, there were roaches all over the room, I killed 3 the first day I was there. The showers don't work, my brother had to... More
