I have booked a car with rentcars.
I have chosen renta facil in Bogota.
I paid rentcars and got the voucher.
When I arrived at Bogota airport at 10 PM
Impossible to find renta facil.
I call on the phone writen on the voucher and the number was wrong.
Finaly I took a taxi to my hotel
The day after I go to the adress of renta facil in Bogota, and after 2 hours of search impossible to find this place.
Finaly I got some one on the phone saying that the booking has been canceled.
So I had to book an another car and get my money from retcars.
My advice is, never choose a company not knowned especialy in Colombia.

Located on the waterfront - close enough that you can hear the ocean "breath" with each gentle wave on the beachfront on the Sea of Cortez, just a short 10 minutes' walk from the Malecon, Hamman's Vacation Rentals proved to be the ideal choice for our one month stay in Loreto. Lynn, and husband Randy, were what Landlords aspire to be - professional & knowledgable in their line of business, yet almost never seen! September is a quiet time of year in Loreto and we were the only guests during our month long stay at Hamman's. What a treat to have the entire grounds to ourselves, to read a book or float in the pool in total seclusion. It's just a few steps out the back gates to the sandy/pebble beach & warm ocean waters for a stroll or a swim ('though we noticed locals, mainly during the weekend, a couple hundred meters down the beach to the South, next door to the marina, enjoying the beach area there as well, at the beginning of the Malecon/boardwalk…) Lynn had arranged to have us picked up on arrival (and dropped off at the airport when we left too) and after collecting our luggage then passing through customs, we were greeted with a big smile and "Walter" holding a sign with our names on it, who expertly loaded us into his air-conditioned vehicle for the 10 minute drive to Hamman's (with some valuable orientation/information along the way too). Lynn greeted us on arrival and showed us to our casita (we rented the detached "Mango Deck" home) with the two a/c units already on and in absolutely spotless/clean condition. We really liked the private covered patio beside our rental home with outside dining table, private BBQ, hammock, chairs and sun loungers, and privacy gate off the communal walkway to the pool area and Lynn's kind manner in showing us through our home & grounds made us feel very welcome (her homemade mango jam was a real nice touch too that I enjoyed with my toasted morning bagels & coffee each morning…) Lynn also provides daily maid service, 5 days/week including complementary laundry services (thank-you Beatrice!), the free use of bicycles (with their front-mounted baskets, they make it really easy to do your grocery shopping at nearby Ley's or for some awesome fruit salads, freshly-made salsa, soft drinks, beer, wine, etc. there was a lovely lady just a block away @ Las Palmas) as well as kayaks, inflatable air mattresses for the pool or ocean, a fully-stocked kitchen (with lots and lots of tupper-ware containers that came in handy for picnics on the islands!) and endless supply of bottled water for our private water dispenser. Wifi was included along with a flat screen television (with a load of channels from Shaw Cable) plus lots of novels, magazines and puzzles should you need. Most mornings would find us watching the colorful sunrise over the nearby beach cabanas with coffees in hand as we lazily discussed our plans for the day. We especially enjoyed the mornings when the sun would rise over the ocean and the horizon begin to lighten, while the musical chatter of birds could be suddenly heard or the chapulines (crickets) at night and of course the bougenvillia, plumeria, palms and hibiscus throughout the property and neighborhood. There is a short pathway leading to the beach with a couple of ponds (estuaries also form during heavy rains) where you can observe the patient egrets as they stand statue-still waiting to pick a meal from these waters - all from your sun lounger! The area is easy to explore on the provided bicycles or by taxi cab or book one of the many tours offered by the local tour companies. My wife and I chartered 25' local boats for private 4 1/2 & 5 hour tours of Coronado and Carmen Islands at very reasonable rates (1600-2100 pesos for boat & Capitan) as we prefer the freedom of pursuing different interests on our own agenda. Both of the captains were very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to take us to secluded snorkeling and picnic areas. The actual town area is just a short walk (or bicycle ride) where you have an endless choice of restaurants, shops, bar/lounges and grocery stores (we preferred "Leys" for most of our grocery purchases, especially their baking treats and sometimes a quick premade meal to bring home from their deli section…) We found the gentle pace of the area, along with the friendliness of the residents all combined to make this area the ideal holiday destination for us. You cannot go wrong staying @ Hamman's Vacation Rentals. Enjoy.

Just returned from another great stay in Tequila Sunrise. We have traveled to Loreto for many years and their place is truly a gem. The accomodations are beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. Lynn and Randy are very involved in the community and more than willing to provide any assistance and information you might need to make your stay perfect. We look forward to returning in the future.

We just spent a week at Hammans. In general the property and the apartment (we stayed at Mango Deck) is good quality, and as good as it can get in Loreto, which has limited options for accommodation. Also, the pool is nice and chilled. However, the property has also a few problems
• The apartment and the property itself feels prions-like, there are bars on all the windows and all around the property. Also, we were told to lock our apartment when going to the pool because the owner was concerned (because of all the locals on the beach). The prison like set up is also a result of the owner living on the property on the last floor, so they constantly observe you (even when you go to the beach) and you never see them.
• The pool is nice, but the owner is also managing other properties, which do not have a pool and her guests are invited to the Hammans. So we ended up sharing the already small pool with a family and their three little and noisy kids, which was not very relaxing at all. Moreover, the landlady gave us strict rules of what to do and not to do in general, and we were only allowed to use the pool from 9 am to 9 pm.
• The beach in front of the property is polluted and the water murky. You can find anything from abandoned strollers to dead fish. Also, it is difficult to get to the beach, you have to cross streams and a knocked-down fence. If you see these blue-water pictures of Loreto, they are a farce, as the beaches a black, stony and very polluted. In order to get to the nice beaches you need to charter a boat and pay about 180 U$. If you are looking for a beach vacation don’t go to Loreto.
• The property is far from town. The offer you bicycles, but the problem is that they were not street-safe, and as a result I had an accident. Also, it rains a lot, and then the streets in Loreto are flooded and it is difficutl and dangerous to get around.

This review is primarily for the casita in which we stayed, and for our wonderful host and hostess, who lived above us on the top floor of "Tequila Sunrise" (we occupied the bottom floor). Lynn and Randy Hamman of Hamman's Vacaciones were most friendly, helpful and accomodating. This was our first trip to Loreto and they made sure we enjoyed it to the fullest. I was a little reluctant to reserve through a private party online, but Lynn was so responsive via e-mail to all of my questions, I just had a good feeling about them and the place, before we even boarded the plane. We were not disappointed in any regard!
Randy and Lynn were like our own in-house tourist guides, which saved us a lot of time and missteps. Their recommendations for a boat trip to the offshore island was idyllic (Coronado, I believe) and their choice of ponga boat and captain excellent. The tour around the island was so interesting and surprising, as we slowly cruised by water -eroded when we came upon a colony of sea lions lounging on the rocks, barking and honking as the waves crashed over them. The tour ended with us on a white sandy beach where we snorkled in turquoise clear water--granted we didn't have it to ourselves--we lost ourselves in the underwater world. Even tho it was a week day, we were the 13th ponga boat to arrive. It was a scorcher of a day so our excursion was about 3 hours total on the boat and beach. We would have stayed longer at the beach if all the shaded areas weren't already taken.
The casita is beautiful--the nicest accommodation we have ever had in Mexico, and not the most expensive!! The tile bathrooms, granite/tile kitchen, the patio and newly finished pool with waterfall were architecturally and aesthetically beautiful and blended well with the building. An extra bonus was having a mango tree on our door step, which just happened to be full of ripe mangos, yummy! Lynn makes mango preserves and was kind enough to make sure we had a jar during our stay. We drink a lot of water and it was especially convenient to have water in a dispenser in our kitchen. Hauling water from town would have become old very fast. The kitchen was fully equipped with gas range, M/W, juicer, and a side-by-side full size refrigerator--can you imagine this is Mexico???!!!
My husband loves to swim in the ocean and I am always worried about rip currents. I can't tell you the number of times we've also been sent packing with hurricanes along the Atlantic Coast, so we thought the Sea of Cortez sounded perfect. As it was, a tropical depression did come through the area, but after we departed. The Sea of Cortez was a short walk over a stoney beach. We swam every morning before breakfast, and several times during the day in water so calm it looked like glass. It was a necessity to have have water shoes, or flip flops which you could easily remove going in/out. I would say the lack of a sandy beach was our only complaint. But, I spent hours collecting beautiful yellow, green, orange and speckled multi-colored smooth stones--almost as fun as collecting seashells, but a lot more heavy to bring home!
We left Virginia in the 90's and found Loreta about 10 degrees hotter, and the heat continued into to the late evening. Tequilia Sunrise offered many options for escaping the sun, the pool with pergola, beach umbrellas on the patio, etc. Our plan was to fix breakfast and lunch at the casita, and go out to dinner each night, as we did most nights, but the patio with table at Tequila Sunrise, dining under the stars with the cool ocean breezes proved to be the prime spot. One night Randy (a fisherman, too) gave us some Dorado fillets which we grilled along with veggies and flour tortillas, and we thought we were in heaven! We also were treated to fresh clams--at Randy's suggestion--when we spotted the man diving offshore with his clamming rig. They were ten-cents a piece and sweet and delicious, and super FRESH.
We're active people, and loved having the double sea kayak available to us. We tripped around both sides of the marina. One day we paddled to the downtown side and saw a conglomeration of birds in a shallow area. We think we spotted a sea eagle, in addition to anahingas, egrets, ducks, and gulls of many types. Additionally, we built up our paddling muscles!! We brought our snorkling gear, but the Hammans had it available, it we didn't.
Most of Loreto's streets in the downtown region were being dug up to be repaved and this was a bit of a distraction and made everything very dusty. But with the bikes provided by the Hammans and a nifty milk crate attached to the back of one, we were able to get to places a car couldn't manage. We found everything we needed at the local grocery store--even honey and sprouts from California. The cobblestone walkways made for a bumpy ride, so we made sure we padded our breakables in the basket.
The Hammans couldn't have been nicer hosts. Although we didn't stay in their other casita, "Mango Deck" , we looked inside it and found it to be similarly furnished, but smaller and without the expansive patio.
All in all it was a great vacation. Our impetus for going, was a really good fare through United for a new route of theirs from Dulles to Houston to Loreto. Any time you fly a new route there's bound to be problems, but aside from one bag going missing (snorkling gear, shoes, etc.) for 5 days, the flights were on time and in fact early in arriving. I found a new respect for my Birkenstock shoes, which did everything for the first 5 days--they were shore shoes, walking shoes, bike peddlers--you nameit!

We have visited Loreto numerous times but this our first experiencve with Hamman's casitas. I would rate our experience as "excellent". The casita was nicely appointed and larger than we expected. The location/view were also better than expected-the property is located about a 100 yds from the sea of Cortez with unobstructed views of the water and islands. Morning sunrises were superb. The casita was very clean and private. The owners (Lynn and Randy) were attentive to our needs but not overly so. Relative to other places we have stayed in Loreto, the location is quiet but still close enough to walk to most amentities, such as the marina or the Plaza. We would book again.

Words can' describe how welcome and safe we felt with our stay at Lynn and Randy's. The Casita was immaculate and well equipped. All the amenities were provided. The location was just far enough away from the town to offer quiet and peaceful nights but easily within walking distance for exploring or dining out. The daily maid service was fantastic because we really didn't want to spend any of our time cleaning. All in all, I can't imagine a better place to stay in all of Loreto.
Bravo!

Lynn and Randy are perfect hosts -- a wonderful source of information about Loreto. It was truly one of the best vacations ever. The property and the accommodations were spotless. Just FANTASTIC!!!

First Class, Beautiful, Secure, Private, Peaceful and Relaxing.
When we first arrived at The Hammonds beautiful Casita - The Mango Room we were so excited to finally be there! All the pictures on the internet are true. It is even more beautiful in person. The beautiful light Orange tiles as you walk into the residence. Every thing is new and super clean. Randy and Lynn are extremely nice and helpful.
The Mango Room is all by itself, it's own building and TOTALLY private. Your own private porch with a Hammack, BBQ, Table w/6 chairs, and two lounge chairs. There is even a hose on the porch to wash out the sand or dirt from your shoes and feet. Nice! Inside is Magnificient! Beautiful floors, Kingsize firm but comfortable bed, Lots of drawer for your clothes and lots of space to hang clothes. Small Table w/4 chairs (we only use to "store" things) a super nice cute bathroom, Awesome shower head!!!!! (Can't tell that is important to me). The Kitchen was way more than we needed but if you plan on cooking a lot of your own food, it is perfect and very well stocked. It also has a livingroom with a couch and two chairs and a big screen TV.
The Hot Tub is new and VERY nice! Perfect way to end your day!
You can see the beach from anywhere at the Hammond's Casa's! It is just a short walk. The sunset is breathtaking! Two Islands out in the sea to look at or visit!
We enjoyed walking into town every day for all tree meals. Sometimes we would walk up on the beach which is very nice. Sometimes we borrowed the bike that the Hammond's let you borrow. Most of the time we walked into town.
The people of Loreto and very nice and friendly. We were in San Jose Del Cabo in August and felt "pestered" everywhere we went by the store owners there. Not at all in Loreto. You can just walk by the shops and have no pressure to buy or to look. A BIG plus for us!
Randy and Lynn helped us by getting some fantastic trips lined up. If you love to fish or want to go out around the Island or Coranodo have them line up Fransisco for you! He is awesome! We were out and he saw some seaguls on the water. We headed over to them and with one fishing pole he cast out and not even two minutes later we had our fist fish. He had Jeff bring it in and it was a Yellow Fin or Yellow Tail (not tuna) and it was about 16 inches long by 6 inches wide. We got 6 inside of 20 minutes. I got to reel one in and it's the biggest fish I ever caught! Perfecto!
We saw the Sea Lions, the Island it's self is very cool with all kinds of difference rock formations and a couple of beautiful sandy beaches. We landed on this beach and I was walking on the sand around the rock with a tortillia and feeding the fish. Once they found the food they came from everywhere. Cool! :)
We went to La Picazon resturant and you simpley have to go there! The BEST food, The BEST Margarita, The nicest hosts! Peaceful and Beautiful there too! We were the only customers when we were there around noon one day in March. Perfecto!
We definatley plan on visiting again very soon! Hope they can fit us in! :) Visit them, you will love it!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Hamman's Vacations in July 2011. We rented the Mango Casita for 10 days and could not have had a more perfect stay. Lynn and Randy were very kind and helpful. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very clean. There was a lady who cleaned our Casita daily, a gardener who came every few days, and there is laundry on site as well. The property is very well kept and the pool is beautiful - wonderful escape from the heat in mid-July! Be sure to use the bikes provided to roam around the quaint little town. Stop by Augie bar for appetizers, be sure to visit Cafe Ole, and Tio Lupe's as well. And if you need a break from the heat, la Michoacana has the best popsicles around. Lynn and Randy arranged a fishing trip for us, and also a snorkeling trip to a nearby island. On the way we saw many dolphins, a marlin and a sea turtle. 5 months later we talk about Loreto weekly and cannot wait to return. You must visit, and stay at Hamman's!

"All the Hammon's units/cassita are wonderful! This time we stayed in the "Mango Deck" unit, completely private with our own entrance. The living room area was so cozy and if we wanted we could choose from their many book titles available at the unit, as well as watch satellite TV with all the channels we found at home. When we do come back we'll most likely choose this one again. The Tequila Sunrise unit is gorgeous as well, and it's a bit larger, but our unit was more than enough for us."Read full review
