The Iguana is well known to many savvy travelers for good reason. Incredibly well-priced, centrally located, super clean rooms with fridges and coffee makers, purified drinking water, a nice courtyard in which international travelers gather and chat, and Julie...the proprietor who treats guests right. The beds are typical for Mexico - shall we just say 'firm' and set on a...

Four of us stayed at the Iguana Inn February 2016 and we all enjoyed the quaint accommodations. You cannot beat the Inn on location, comfort, price and hospitality. Julie the owner is very accommodating and will hook you up with great guides to go whale watching. There are four rooms, number 4 being the most private. All the rooms are...

The Iguana Inn is exactly the kind of place we seek when we travel in Mexico. Quiet but within a block of the town square and two blocks of the Malecon, it provided us the perfect opportunity to hang out and feel like locals for four days. The garden with the water fountain was the ideal place to relax and...

I had booked with another inn prior to embarking on a kayak trip, but that inn did not have availability for me upon my return. The other innkeeper referred me to Julie at the Iguana Inn and it was an excellent match. The two of them even xferred my left luggage from one inn to the other so it would...

So glad we chose the Iguana for our 4 night stay in Loreto. The shady outdoor seating area is restful, with a parade of birds coming to visit the fountain, and easy walking distance to the central plaza, the waterfront and numerous excellent places to eat. The room was spacious and had amenities rarely found in a budget hotel: a...

The Iguana Inn is a sweet little place to stay! The rooms are nicely designed along with the beautiful shaded patio. It's situated only a couple of blocks from the oceanfront and close to all amenities! We enjoyed having our own little fridge and coffee machine. As well, the availability of a couple of bikes to get around Loreto was...

The location is downtown Loreto, just a few blocks from the beach. The owner, Julie, was always around when we needed her, friendly & spoke both Spanish & English. She's lived here a while & is a great personal travel guide! She let us borrow her stand up paddle board for an afternoon & had a kayak we never got...

The inn has lovely rooms, a shaded patio, quiet location, and friendly informed staff. The inn is centrally located, near the sea, with many restaurants nearby. Staying here was a highlight of my kayaking trip.

I visited the Iguana Inn with my wife in March for 2 days. We used it as a very affordable stop over from our drive back from San Ignacio Lagoon. We booked well in advance and my advice is that if you want to stay here, you must do so too! Do not expect to turn up and have a...
