Beautiful resort. Several pools including a Adults only. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, specifically Miguel. He took excellent care of us at the Disco and the restaurant. The waiters that worked the Breakfast brunch/ Buffet were also great. The customer service all around was excellent. The golf course is beautiful and a challenge but fun. The view at...

My friend who is a member of the hotel was a bit nervous after reading how remote the hotel location was. Not to worry it is well worth the drive. When we arrived we were already pre checked in,escorted to our room. We immediately headed for the pool for the daily happy hour. Pool bar staff was very welcoming and...

Villa del Palmar is a wonderful full-service resort that has not yet been discovered by the masses. The rooms, pools, bay, and hiking are outstanding. Unlike so many places in Cabo, this is very quiet resort where the staff really try hard to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Villa del Palmar, as well as Loreto, have not become ultra...

Overall this resort is amazing. I shouldn't be reviewing this because the more reviews, the more attention the resort will get. It is a hidden gem for sure. The staff definitely goes out of your way to make you feel like kings and queens. Carlos in Premium Services/Front Desk is the gem of them all. We made a connection with...

First time in Loreto but not my last. Very secluded & quiet. Pristine, beautiful water, wonderful people. Took DesCante Island tour. Booked with Carlos who was true to his word. Incredible, best value. Guide Rammasis took us to an alternate snorkeling site because of extreme winds. Perfect. Rammasis gave us a virtual history & oceanography course. He's also a Skipper...

We drove from Cabo in a rental car. It took 7 hour and was well worth it. The trip up highway 1 had a wide diversity of scenery and was safe as long as you took your time in the mountains. The resort is fabulous and the people there bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time....

Beautiful location, right on the beach. No vendors hawking trinkets, private, serene, 40 minutes to Loreto and the airport. Alaska Airlines flies direct from LA. For us, a bonus, no cell service available! (My husband cannot resist a client needing something immediately!) You can get wifi in your room if you want it with a Netflix hookup otherwise free internet...

Villa del Palmar is about a half-hour south of Loreto, near the tiny village of Ligui. VERY isolated, which is great most of the time. Do rent a car but know that when you book through the travel sites (i.e. Travelocity, etc) the prices seem cheap but that's because you'll be required to purchase the insurance that you'd normally decline...
