This was our first time to this resort and it exceeded our expectations. We were told it was quite and not much to do, but after we were there only a week, there were still things we wanted to do that we were not able to. The resort itself sits in the most beautiful place with the bay and islands offering an amazing view and surrounded by tall mountains and the most scenic gold course I have ever played (although pricey worth it). The things we most enjoyed: Hiking the mountain trails to the 17th hole to watch the sunrise, sitting in the many hot tubs, eating in the restaurants and don’t forget to go eat at the golf club house, which offers breakfast through dinner options. If you are a golfer, the golf course is a must. The 17th hole is like nothing you have ever played and the rest of the course winds along and through the mountains with several elevated tees to play from. It is not a difficult course and has wide forgiving fairways. We did have a rental car to drive into Loreto, but only went in one time. We stayed in a 1 bedroom that had a great view of the bay and islands, fully stocked Kitchen, Laundry, and the ladies who took care of our room were outstanding. The staff was amazing and took great care of us. The key people were Ernesto and Uziel part of the front desk team, Louis and Francisco of the golf team, and Pabs from the sales team, who did our members update. Also, Samantha who did our welcome introduction. There was no flight from Cabo to Loreto, where we were the week before, so we rented a car and drove. Plan on 7 hours if you stop to eat. The drive was safe, with great scenery, but make sure to keep a full tank of gas when you leave La Paz, since not many gas stations after that.

VDP Islands of Loreto is truly an amazing place. The location is one of the most beautiful in all the Baja, the resort is comfortable, spacious and well laid out and the staff is absolutely incredible. They anticipate your every need and have already taken care of everything before you even ask. Manny, Jorge, Joshua and the guys at the pool are so quick to make sure you are having the best pool day ever! Julio, Edgar, Christian, Omar, Manuel Enrique and Ilse in The Market provide incredible service at every meal! The Entertain Staff are great! We love Duvis, Laura, Jocelyn, Eduardo and the gang are so much fun! Danzante Bay Golf Course and clubhouse- Hole 17 is breathtaking- you need to see it to believe it! Fransisco, Carolina, Danny and gang make every round your best round! Jessy and Gerardo/Jerry at Casa Mia are absolute pros! The food is delicious and fine dining at its best. The Elite Concierge staff- Jessy, Walbert, Josa and Gloria are the best of the best. They make us feel like we are home, always ready to assist with anything we need. Make sure to check out the spa- massages, facials, steam room, sauna… thank you Elena for the wonderful treatments! We highly recommend Villa Del Palmar -Islands of Loreto, well worth the trip.

Fabulous Staff. We have been coming here for 8-9 years at least twice a year. On every visit we meet another staff member who gives exceptional service. You always feel at home and that you are with family. On this trip we met Ilse who is the morning hostess at the Market Restaurant. Even though the staff was wearing masks, you could tell Ilse always had a huge smile on her face. And always had a cheerful, Buenas Dias! to greet us. After a couple of days we were on hugging terms. It was sad to say adios on the last day but we always can say Hasta luego. Can’t wait to see you again. Thank you Ilse for making each morning wonderful.

Beautiful location and hotel. Very relaxing and low key vacation spot. Lots of gluten free options. Staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate your requests and needs. Lupita, the manager of The Market Restaurant made sure we had our allergy needs taken care of daily. She always greeted us with a smile and made us feel special. Oscar took great care of us at the pool daily, suggesting several wonderful drink and food options. Be sure to take a hike for breathtaking view and play the TPC golf course. You won’t be disappointed!!!

We had a excellent vacation there for our family of eight. We were there Christmas Eve until New Year’s Eve. The resort was lovely and the five adults and three children had an outstanding time. The restaurant services we received were excellent. Our waiter Marco was super and remembered my daughter’s family from a pre-covid four years ago. The service and food were so good. One day we went fishing and the Danzante restaurant cooked up our sea bass and red snapper for dinner. There plenty of extra activities and one time my son and I attended the bar attendant ReDo’s martini making clas. We throughly enjoyed it. Family also did kayaking and stand up paddling. Hiking through the hills was fun. A great resort and trip.

This is a hidden gem, lots of fun and activities, but not as wild and loud as Cabo or PV. We came on promotion and thought zero chance we’d want to buy.. here we are now proud new members. Excited to come back with our kids and extended family. Danzante restaurant was our favorite. All the staff are so great and all the members here had nothing but positive to say

We spent a wonderful week on Dazante Bay at VDP. The beach with its wrap around hiking trails are impressive! There’s a gorgeous special beach just over a peak that you must visit! Besides the most beautiful surrounding you will ever see you will be most impressed with the attentive and kind servers at the pool area. Not only are the pools pristine and beautiful- Joshua, Charly and Manny are simply the best servers around. They seem to truly care about you and take such good care of you while you’re lounging and enjoying your vacation. I hope they are awarded ten fold, as they are the upmost hospitable people I have ever met. They are Jems!! Also, Casa Mi the sports bar by day and Italian restaurant by night is a wonderful open air concept that you must have lunch at! Tulio, one of the servers there was so kind to us! He made us feel at home and made sure our experience was extremely special. I truly want to thank Joshua, Charly, Manny and Tulio so very much, they made our week much better than we could have ever imagined our trip being. Just knowing these gentlemen has made our life richer. I wish them all well and can’t wait to visit them again!

I would say, the beach is the biggest asset of this place. We loved spending time at the beach! It is clean and has lots to do. The beach fires are a great addition and hope they will stay around. We were very pleased and excited to see the improvements to the little bar there. The transformation from a shack to a bar with grill, tables, chairs and blankets at night made it so inviting! But the best, was the staff at the beach. David, Jose, Antonio, Axel and Jorge were so much fun to be around and were so attentive to us, it made our vacation! The absolute best was Marco behind the grill! He was a magician with the food and was absolutely amazing! Everyday he was working, we just could not get enough of his food! I hope he is still there the next time we go back! Props to Jorge (supervisor) who we often saw talking with the team and encouraging them. We have enjoyed talking to Jorge each time we go there. He always makes time to visit with the guests making sure we were enjoying our time there! Antonio at the front door, always had a big smile and a friendly hello. He was very helpful when ever we saw him. At the front desk, there was a nice young man working. He was very helpful and courteous. He said he loved his job and it showed in his big smile. He was very helpful and through. The grounds are always clean and well kept up. It is always nice to go back to a place year after year and see it well taken care of. The grounds keepers work hard keeping the grass, trees and bushes beautiful. Even though they work very hard, they always had a smile and a greeting as you pass by them. The rooms are spacious and well maintained but pillows were too thick and the mattresses are a bit worn with permanent indentations but we were told they are soon replacing them. The Spa Gym is a great place to start your day! Very friendly and helpful staff to assist with the equipment. Glad to see the lines on the court for pickle ball too!

We are currently staying at Villa Del Palmar Loreto and we are loving it! It is extremely peaceful here with breathtaking views. Weather is a little chilly for swimming, but that is our fault we came in the middle of January. I never ever received better service in any of the all inclusive resort/restaurants I ever been to! Every day we have been beautifully greeted by Lupita. She is so sweet, carrying and wonderful…it is just unbelievable! We felt so cared and loved. We see her in Market restaurant and then again in Casa Mia and she always make sure we have everything and she gives us the best advices on where to go and what to do! She is the “diamond” of this resort and Villa del Palmar Loreto should be super proud to have her. The best server we had during our stay was Omar and Benito. They really took great care of us. Our concierge Paula was outstanding and genuinely very sweet. So funny too! It was such a pleasure talking to her everytime we see her. Her colleague Bernardo is as also fantastic! Service and people in this resort are incredible and we are looking forward to our return.
