Hotel Santa Fe has plenty of billboards up that advertise rooms at $49.99 . The real rate is just over $100.00 per night. When I questioned the rate, the clerk offered a lower rate but still not the advertised price. You would do better to head downtown towards the beach for better rates and a quieter location.

It was a great place, very clean and friendly. Staff always on hand to help out with anything we needed. Once we toured around loreto we realized it had no view or close to the beachside that many others offered or close to the more central locations where more activity was happening and easy to walk to. It had a... More

The hotel is charming and nice. The price was EXCELLENT! The only "con" I would have is the bed was too small (they don't have King sized beds) and the mattress was too firm. But, the service was great! They brought us an extra bed...preferred by us because we are both over 6 feet tall. The staff is excellent and... More

The Santa Fe hotel was built to assist in the marketing of a timeshare resort that is 30 minutes away from Loreto. When the hotel first opened the timeshare hustle was aggressive. It was not a fun place to be with every employee trying to get you to their timeshare presentation. The new resort 30 minutes from Loreto is up... More

I knew of this property from my time with the Villa de Palmar in Cabo San Lucas. All I knew was that it was a little property the Villa group owned in Loreto four hours from Cabo. Traveling back from Cabo to California we needed a place to stay and landed at the Santa Fe. After driving through the hot... More

I was very impressed with customer service from housekeeping all the way to management. Safety is very important to me…my husband and I went along with my 15 year old daughter were there, we felt safe the whole time. The hotel is beautiful and quiet. The location is perfect for me because it’s about a 10 minute walk from the... More

Only a queen size bed, no hair dryer (really!!??!!), a shower you could not turn around in, and you had to buy the coffee packet for a $1 UDS. Really? Not even close to impressive. Especially after staying at the Baja Cactus Hotel in El Rosario the night before on our way down from San Diego. And we paid twice... More

So, I walk in to the santa fe with a large backpack on my shoulders looking to check into my room so I can find a little time to relax in the room before venturing out to the malecon. Squaring up to the counter upon arrival,I am happy to see no line and a hotel representatve behind the desk. But... More
