We had a wonderful week in Loreto in early May. We were there to SCUBA dive, and the location of El Tiburon Casitas is outstanding for anything you want to do in town, one block from the marina, one block from the Town Square. The property is secure, well-designed, with lovely art and murals throughout. My husband especially enjoyed relaxing... More

We just returned from our first trip from Loreto. All the reviews have it right. We walked easily to our boat tour, great restaurants, the beach, and the grocery store. Especially appreciated the water dispenser in the room, the high level of cleanliness, free phone calls to the US, and Liz's friendliness. You will like it here

My boyfriend and I traveled to Loreto for the first time last month and were lucky enough to book this property, last minute. So glad that we did! When we arrived, there was a personalized note on the gate to welcome us and, from that moment, that is exactly what they did! We instantly felt at home here. The owner,... More

Loreto is a smaller town - this place is close to everything and it's easy to ride or take the bikes! I enjoyed the conversations around the table in the Casita courtyard, and the people we met there. Very nice place to relax and decompress; and close to Nature and the Real Mexico! The property is well maintained; and Liz... More

Jayne, our daughter Amelia, and I had a wonderful stay at El Tiburon Casitas. There are only four casitas in the complex, so lots of privacy and space. The casitas are beautifully built with gorgeous tile work and the most comfortable beds we have ever had. Liz is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful. There's no way, when in Loreto,... More

El Tiburon is really a gem of a place, not least due to Liz, its energetic, knowledgeable, and helpful owner. As other reviewers have mentioned, the arrangement of individual casitas around an inner courtyard with its large shaded table is conducive to leisurely conversations with other guests--some of whom will share their freshly caught fish with you! The property is... More

I stayed on in Loreto for a week after a whale-watching tour and had casita #1 (of 4) here. Liz, the owner, never stops working to make any stay here the best it can be. She was incredibly helpful organizing day trips, providing information, and checking in every day to make sure we were all having a good time. You... More

Just returned from a great 3 week stay at El Tiburon Casitas in Loreto! We chose El Tiburon for its location, but got so much more! Not only is it within walking distance from the beach and marina but you can walk to all the shops, restaurants and grocery stores as well...a car is definitely not needed. The casitas are... More

This was our first visit to Loreto and we originally were going to stay at La Mision Loreto because it was on the waterfront. Then we read all the reviews and decided to try El Triburon. Luckily for us Liz had just had a cancellation as it was otherwise booked solid. Our casita was perfect - spotlessly clean, airy, very... More

Stayed several years ago and this was my second two week visit to El Tiburon which is in a quiet residential location in very close walking distance to both the marina and town center amenities. Secure gated property. The free standing casitas are fairly large and have full kitchen facilities for self catering. Spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. Being a... More
