Casa Tuscany is a very pretty little inn. The rooms look into a central courtyard where the owner, Carol, serves breakfast every morning. Breakfast was a great opportunity to meet some of the other guests and talk to Carol about La Paz and the surrounding area. Carol was really helpful booking snorkeling, suggesting local meals and other trips. Would definitely... More

My wife and I were passing through La Paz and had booked another hotel. Upon arrival, it was terrible. Although we had been traveling all day, we decided to leave as it was so bad. Fortunately we were referred to Carol, who took us in on very short notice, and we had a great experience. The days there were much... More

Dear Shelby and Ellery, I can't tell you how delighted I am that you called me when you found your other accommodations not up to par. Lucky for me (and I think for you, too) your single night stretched into several. It was great that you were able to park your unusual mode of transportation in front of the inn... More

My sisters and I returned to Casa Tuscany this past spring for a mini reunion. We have never been disappointed in this beautiful inn, it's accommodations, it's location and especially the service provided by the inn keeper Carol Dyer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tuscany last February. Our hostess, Carol, was friendly, helpful & accomadating. We stayed in the Lucca room off the 2nd floor balcony. It was clean, comfortable & colorful. The bathroom was spotless & the bed was great. Breakfast was served at a table in the courtyard surrounded by tropical plants & birds. Casa... More

From the moment I entered the front gate to opening my room I was impressed. I felt like Carol had captured the feel of the area. The breakfast was delicious, and I had plenty of coffee for the days ahead. Carol not only was the owner of "Casa Tuscany" but she was an ambassador for la Paz. She offered to... More

The B&B is conveniently located within walking distance of many good restaurants and is practically across the street from the Malecon boardwalk where we did our daily morning 3 mile power walk before enjoying the ever changing delicious and freshly prepared breakfast. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
