Can't say enough great things about this place. I was here for 7 days in La Paz and enjoyed every minute. Hosts Linda and Chalo are wonderful, friendly people who take pride in their hotel and the personal touch it offers. They can point you to a lot of interesting places and things to do in the city -- ask...

We stayed here for the second time and enjoyed it again. This is more like a condo than a hotel room, with a kitchen, living room, dining area, two bathrooms and two bedrooms, and a huge balcony overlooking the bay, all for $170 USD per night. The place is clean, beds are comfortable and the included breakfast by the pool...

I was pleased to celebrate the New Year with family and friends from all over the US at LA's Gaviotas resort. The accomdations were very spacious and well equipped. We had ample room to entertain a group of 12 with a catered dinner on New Year's Eve and enjoyed the sunset views nightly from our large patio and the stunning...

Linda and Chalo, the lovely hosts of this establishment, were without exaggeration two of the warmest, most helpful, and wonderful people we have encountered in our travels to Mexico. The rooms at Las Gaviotas are outstanding: spacious, lovely and even delightfully decorated. We were on the top floor, and had incredible views of the sunset from our patio. Breakfast is...

We had a wonderful stay at the Gaviotas. It is close within walking distance to the ocean, restaurants, stores, tour operators and bus station. The owners were so helpful in recommending activities, arranging transportation and all with a delicious breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip back.

We enjoy staying at Las Gaviotas as it is comfortable, clean, well equipped, wonderful view from the patio and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Our most recent stay was a party of 4 adults and we felt like we staying with family. Great little touch in the room is enough coffee (along with sugar & creamer) for an...

We try to avoid the mega-resorts when we travel, and Las Gaviotas is a great example of why. Fantastic view of the Malecon, the sunset, and the Bay. The room was as comfortable one could hope for - the bed was extremely comfortable. The deck had nice chairs, a table, and a lounger. The pool, while dated, was clean and...

I stayed at Las Gaviotas for 4 nights in July (low season) with my family. We were the only guests in the hotel for most of our stay. I can't saw enough about how hospitable the staff was. Every morning Linda, the OWNER, would cook us breakfast (eggs according to our preference), and the pool and room was well maintained....
