Stayed here Oct 20-23. The staff was pleasant but the hotel is very tired and needs a lot of TLC. Elevator was broken quite often, plumbing completely down one day which made it pretty difficult to clean up after a long day of fishing as there was no water in any of the rooms. No towels one of the days.... More

Been going to LA Paz about twice a year for about 15 years. First time at this Resort. Attended with about 7 other fishing buddies and got hooked up with an out fit called Baja pirates that did go out of their way to accommodate us originally. Had some boat problems that caused the crew to put the live bait... More

I stayed here while on business in La Paz. In general, it is a good place to stay: great views, away from noisy downtown, close to the ocean and the beach walk. Rooms are big and comfortable. The AC does not work very well which might be a challenge during the hot days. I had problems with the used hand... More

Marina Hotel La Paz – room 414, May 28, 29, two nights. We really like this hotel, though the location was further from downtown than we preferred. There is an elevator and luggage cart, which is great if one is on the 4th floor. Two double beds. Nice sliding glass door with screen to the public balcony. Very nice view... More

We stayed in Hotel Marina 5 nights while working on our sailboat, in neighboring Marina Palmira - the location was convenient for us. We paid cash 1100 pesos per night including taxes, and this included breakfast with omeletes made to order. Our room on the 5th floor was a bit outdated but large, with a lovely view. The sliding glass... More

First off, I am writing this at 3:24am after calling the front desk and requesting that the party in the parking lot outside our room (30-50 people) please get wrapped up. That was at 1:30am, I'm cool, but c'mon, the music LOUD, the crowd is drunk and obnoxious and the front desk has done nothing! ...oh now the girls are... More

We had to make the reservation here since it was only for 1 night and the other hotels were already full, is not expensive but the money you pay here you expect better facilities, the property itself is old, service is good, they were very attentive at the front desk, bellmen & housekeeping although i found hair on the bed... The rooms have a strong odour coming from the bathroom and we had to switch rooms. There was still a slight odour in the new room. There was also construction and they were slowly replacing each door from a wood door/frame to metal. The pool was nice, the area was nice. The attached restaurant had a breakfast buffet which was... I scored this property as an "excellent", but you have to understand that it is not (nor promises to be) a 5 star, all inclusive resort. We stayed here for only one night as we came to La Paz for a week of sailing around the area. The Hotel Marina seemed like the logical place to stay, since it is... More

Doors to balcony could not open or shut properly. Mattress was old and covered in plastic which made for an uncomfortable sleep along with the noise from the bar. Pool looked dirty and worse was the food at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was disgusting. Staff in lobby was helpful, staff at restaurant WAS NOT. Only stayed one night thank goodness... More
