Our little hostel is located 1 block up from the oceanfront "Malecón of La Paz" located in downtown close to restaurants, touristic attractions and all you need to enjoy your stay. Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The location is great. 2 blocks from an oxxo. 2 blocks from a great restaurant (Rancho viejo). Close to the melacon! The bunks are nice with curtains. You also get a towel. The staff was great! They can set you up with any activities although I did not use them. The private rooms do not have their own bathrooms. There are lockers in the main common area for securing valuables but not in the rooms. The place needs some work done to it, which is why I put 3 stars. It seems they were working on it. For the price I’d say it’s worth what you pay. The kitchen had sugar ants. The doors to the rooms make a lot of noise opening them and you can hear everything thru them.

Me and my buddy had an amazing time at this hostel, the staff and owner were so incredibly helpful and the hostel was very nice and super clean. They told us about al the places in town to see and which were the best for food and drinks, they always knew where to recommend for us to have the best time. I would stay here again for sure.

Great location with the melacon a 5/10 minute walk away. Handy to nearby restaurants and an OXXO.
Myself and my two friends were booked in a 6 bed mixed dorm for 4 nights in April 2022. We arrived late (after the 9pm check in deadline) but made contact with the hostel via WhatsApp. They left instructions for us on where to get our keys and what beds we had. A great first impression!
However, there were not enough lockers in the room for the amount of beds. We were lucky we were travelling together so could share. Curtains only covered half of the beds and there was a lack of charging points for each bed. This has been commented on in previous reviews but nothing has been done about it.. Our room couldn't be locked and was often left wide open all day. The security gate to the hostel was always left open too.. Very poor security.
The shared bathrooms were opposite our room however they were right next to the open plan kitchen. Therefore we heard anyone and everyone who used the kitchen from our room. Poor layout. Also there was one tiny sink for people to wash hands/brush your teeth. Not even a shelf nearby to put your stuff on.
We went on the free walking tour with the hostel which was fine. About 30-40 mins walk down along the melacon and into a few back streets. It could easily be done on your own though!
We actually ended up leaving a night early as we weren't enjoying staying here and found a much nicer place further down the melacon at the same price!

I stayed 4ish nights here. Good : nice atmosphere, lots of people passing through, general good vibes, good location, friendly volunteers/staff. Bad : I asked if I could leave 1 night earlier than I had booked for and then to come back one day later. Was told by the receptionist that was okay and I paid in advance for the next night (that I was coming back for). Arrived the next day to be told I had no reservation and they were keeping my money as a late cancellation fee for the night before. Owner said the receptionist didn't have authority to agree to my change of plans (fine) but still kept my money.

This hostel has a great location just 5 min walk from the beach. The folks working there we're super friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and nice.
10/10 hostel WILL defiantly stay there again soon!

I had'nt been stayng in a hostel for a while and it was a great experience. first of all the location, simply perfect, close to the narina in a quiet neihbourhood. all the staff is super kind and nice, always smiling and helpfull. i stayed in a private room the first two night and a 10 days later in the 4 beds dormitory. the private room is super nice and clean. the hostel has many toilets and showers all very clean. they also organized for me the trip to espiritu santo island. I extremely recommend this place and hope to be back soon thanks Corrado

My 2 friends and I had a very nice time at Bermejo hostel. It is a new hostel very well located and close to some good places to eat. The owner is also a tour guide. He gave us plenty of great tips about Los Cabos and La Paz. Overall a peaceful, clean and friendly place to stay.

If you looking for a safe, clean, comfortable, friendly hostel at a reasonable rate in la paz, look no further. Location is great, wifi is good and bathrooms are very clean. It's not right on the beach but few blocks walkable from Malecon. Staff is very nice and will guide and help you to explore La Paz and surrounding areas. Sergio himself is a guide and has extensive knowledge of the area. I travel solo and look for friendly, great atmosphere, which this place had.I would definetly stay at this hostel if I go to La Paz again.
