    This was our first visit to the Gambia and we stayed at Alla La Daaro for the first three nights of our trip. Meg the owner was very helpful with e-mails prior to our holiday, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. As other reviewers have said, the accommodation is quite basic, but it is spotless....

    Words fail me, never a good start to a review but when it comes alla la daroo I can’t adequately describe the awfulness this place. I would say it has to be seen to be believed.
