You couldn't get a better location, on the beach and everything is within a five minute walk. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned everyday. The staff really make the stay, nothing was ever too much trouble and always smiling from reception to waiters. The security was also excellent , as the bar is right on the beach some people tried to use the pools but where quickly challenged by security. You won't get 5 star luxury here but if you want a really good clean and welcoming hotel stay here. I will certainly be going back and would highly recommend it.
This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are super accommodating. It’s located steps from the beach and moments away from a busy street with tons of delicious restaurants to chose from. Breakfast is AMAZING with so many delicious items to chose from. The AC in my room was COLD and refreshing. You must walk down to the end of the left side of the beach in the morning (around 9 or 10). You’ll be rewarded with delightful monkeys (do watch your belongings and don’t try to touch them). There’s a set of formidable stairs that will lead you to another beautiful beach. Totally worth the workout. Great place to stay. I would definitely return.

Just spent two weeks in this lovely hotel wished it was longer, so sad to leave. The whole place was clean and tidy inside and out. Our room 5305 was cleaned daily, had everything you would expect, good shower massive bed kettle tea coffee small fridge, pool towels provided. 2 bottles of water good storage facilities and a free safe. There are two pools set in lovely gardens one is huge, they were very clean and well maintained, the smallest one had a swim up bar witch was not open. Sunbeds around the pool were soon taken plenty of room for more. It did not concern us because there was a beautiful scenic beach past the bar and restaurant, also monkey's the far side of the beach daily. The restaurant was in a good position looking out to sea, the breakfast had a huge choice something for everyone buffet style, lunch and dinner you choose from the menu. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the girls in reception by the purple tree. The TUI rep Jens was fantastic full of information very helpful. We would like to thank Mickey and ALL his staff for a magical holiday. We would recommend Ao Nang Villa and yes we have already booked for next year for a return visit. Mama purple and Papa Rose and Keith.…
We arrived after a very long flight from uk. Our room was ready straight away. We unpacked and was by the pool in under an hour. The room was very spacious, with a large bed and lots of storage , a good shower. It's all spotlessly clean. You get pool towels supplied. Pool areas are very clean. The larger pool was usually full of towels just after 8 a.m., but the pool was closer to the sea was fine. Never had a problem getting a sunbed. As the week went on, the hotel got a bit busier, and they brought out extra sunbeds. We only ate breakfast in the hotel. This was a great spread. There is something for everyone, The beach outside the front of the hotel is beautiful and the sea is gentle and the sand flat, you can walk a long way out. Walk down the end of the beach to the left of the hotel are monkeys. And a stairway that takes you to another beach. Stairs are a challenge if you are not particularly fit. The hotel is close to the main street and you will find lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Also, there is a short walk to a small street market, with amazing food. We actually preferred this market to the bigger main street market. …
The hotel does not look like the pictures. The hotel seems dead around the pool. The pool bar is closed and looks dilapidated. You can hear neighbors very clearly, even when they are farting, snoring or opening a beer. There are frogs, lizards and geckos all over the hotel - you can't sleep because of croaking frogs. The staff is friendly.
I booked 3 rooms with upgrades back in October and with a fortnight to go before we go they have cancelled two rooms. Absolutely disgusting now trying to find alternatives in what was a 12k holiday. Hotel management/agent clueless.
Excellent rooms and that was before my air con stopped working but the staff were straight onto it and moved my room straight away no fuss. Food delicious, staff in all areas really attentive. Whilst we were there we booked treatments with the villa spa which were delightful and whilst a little unexpected I felt snacking coming out of it. Thai massage a must for stress and tension. Beds tend to be an issue in Thailand but these beds are a dream and the best pillows. Will stay here again and will always recommend. Thank you for a great stay!
The resort is perfectly located on Ao nang beach, close to all amenities. Super clean pools, rooms very clean and serviced daily, however the shower and sink drains were very smelly, especially when it rained. breakfast was disappointing every day. Thai food options were very fake tasting, nothing like the delicious thai food you eat almost everywhere. No kids club for kids over 5 yrs old, and pools closed at 7pm. Every evening there was a fire show outside the main bar, which was stunning.
We paid extra to have a couple of days in a nice hotel before we left Thailand and were impressed by the ornate lobby however, the rooms were horrible. Old and dated with a grubby looking bathroom and the hardest most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever lay in. The pool was ok but the area itself was an uninspiring concrete area with just a few sun beds which weren’t enough to cater for the amount or people there. The outside bar area faced the sea which was lovely, however it took at least 10-15mins for them to serve you and the deafening noise of the longboats makes it not a place you want to stay. Whilst the facilities outside the rooms look good, the rooms let this down so much. I personally would rather a comfy bed for a good nights sleep and a decent bathroom rather than a sauna or gym. This wasn’t value for money and I’ve stayed in beach apartments at a third of the price which have been far better. The 1 star is purely for location as is in the centre of the town. Far too expensive for what it is. Would definitely not stay there again 👎…
