We spent 5 nights of our Christmas holiday here and loved our stay. This hotel has the best location! We had dozens and dozens of options for shopping, restaurants, and massage within a 5 minute walk. The beach and access to boats to the islands are right across the street from the hotel. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and cleaned twice daily, and due to the design of it there is a lot of room for lounging and swimming so it never felt crowded. One of the best parts of our stay was the incredible breakfast buffet. The menu changed slightly every day so we didn't get bored with our options and there was something for everyone (European and Asian cuisine, vegetarian and meat options, eggs made to order, fruits and vegetables, espresso machine, etc.). The restaurant faces the beach and it was a beautiful way to start each day! Our room was on the first floor and we had a small sitting area with pool access, which was great for a family with kids. We were very happy with the amenities for the price that we paid.

The only improvement we could recommend is that the bathroom could use a little extra attention (fresh paint, deep cleaning or replacing tiles, etc.). I'm sure it's a result of the pandemic that things were neglected for some time!

I loved staying at Vacation Village, the location is great and it is very close to the beach and places of interest. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was very spacious and had access to the pool area, they are also equipped with a small fridge and even have a hairdryer. The pool is very complete; It is surrounded by green, hammocks and sofas and they also have a restaurant service. Also note that they have a motorcycle rental service at only 250baths. I would repeat without a doubt!

Stayed a couple of nights after a busy time in Bangkok ! The rooms are a good size and adequate. Yes they could do with some updating but do a job for the price and would not stop me staying again

The location is great and is right in the heart of the town and next to long boat pier which is a bonus ! The real pearl is the restaurant location overlooking the beach as you breakfast in the morning

Noise did not bother us from the outside of the hotel , if had any gripe it would be that not enough sun beds as space is limited around the larger of the two pools but very little time spent for it to be a problem ! More than compensated by the rooms having a patio with two comfy lounge chairs

Enjoyable stay 👍

The only positive note? The position.
Before departure I sent a message to the hotel to accept that my room was by the pool on the first floor (I paid for this type of room) and I was given confirmation; As soon as we arrived we were assigned the worst room in the structure: top floor, view of the air conditioners, dark, smelling of mold and with the door that didn't close. After having reported everything to the reception, I was told that there was a problem during the booking (??) and they made us move to another room with the promise that the next day they would assign us the room I booked . I won't dwell on the second room because the conditions were not very different from the first. To apologize, they offered us "dinner" in their restaurant, which basically included 3 dishes of their choice (😂) to share with my partner (but oh well... ah drinks excluded 😂). But the worst comes a few days later... due to an oversight on our part, my partner and I forget to put around 20,000 baht in a safe place, which magically disappear after cleaning!! We know it was an oversight on our part, but that doesn't justify the gesture. Even though it was our "mistake", we decide to inform the reception about what happened, knowing that the money was now lost...result? They didn't even greet us again for the rest of our stay. BAD. I am already expecting a response from the structure, but know that things went exactly like this, I would have had no reason to say otherwise.

We stumbled on this hotel while looking for beach front places to eat one evening in Ao Nang. The pool and location looked outstanding which prompted my partner who is Thai to venture into Reception and ask about price and availability as we were considering extending our stay in Ao Nang. She was only interested in poolside rooms and after some discussion regarding price and availability and a quick check on Agoda we decided to book for two nights. In daylight the pool still looks great but the place overall is looking a little shabby, in need of a little TLC. No doubt the lack of customers during lockdown has made it tough for the business but they were in the process of replacing part of the thatched roof on one wing while we were there. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly, our room was good, quite large with good hot shower that worked - not allways the case in Thailand, and great value for money. Breakfast overlooking the beach was good, although the selection a little limited compared to many Thai hotels, and the location is fantastic - we had a couple of amazing sunsets visible from the upstairs bar, but better if you ventured 50 paces onto the beach. It's also quite close to a large number of bars, coffee shops and resturants of all price ranges and tastes, from Thai, Mexican, Turkish and Western to Indian.

We have stayed at the Inn 10 times over the years and it was wonderful to be back once again. There are many reasons we continue to make this our hotel of choice when we go to Ao Nang. It is situated in the heart of Ao Nang meters from the amazing beach, there are dozens and dozens of restaurants, shops and bars at your door step and the central pool is surrounded by lush tropical trees and plants.
There are various room types but we always stay in room 1110 one of the awesome pool side deluxe rooms. The pool is steps away from the rooms. We were very happy to see our room completely renovated from the older style to new modern fittings, brand new beds and brand new bathroom, AC and TV. Management informed us that they plan to renovate all rooms which I am sure will only attract even more guests.
Poda Kitchen, the onsite restaurant is where you will eat your amazing breakfast overlooking the beach. Do try eating lunch or dinner here also as the food is as good as anywhere and they specialise in Southern Thai cooking.
But the biggest reason we keep coming back is the exceptional staff. All of them are so kind, generous, polite always smiling and saying sawatdee kah. I wish I could remember all of their names but a big shout out and thank you to Hong, Ajima, Tran-Ya, Sunny, Nid, Humm, Hafis, Rich and the very, very special Saiman the Manager of the Inn.
We obviously love this place and never have or will look for another property in Ao Nang. We can’t wait to go back in March next year!
Do yourself a favour and consider staying at the Inn, you won’t be disappointed.

Location is amazing. Bus stop just out front will take you all the major places very cheap. Bus is a Toyota pick up converted with seating. Very friendly. Hotel is straight across from beach, breakfast buffet with a view is a great way to start your day. Breakfast spread was really good, Thai and western options with chef cooking eggs to order. Rooms however really dated, our mattress was so horrible with springs sticking into your back. Room also not well cleaned. We would stay somewhere else next time.

We spent two weeks in Thailand and staying at this "hotel" was by far the worst part of our trip. To begin, they were an hour late to pick us up for our initial transfer and offered zero explanation or notice. They "comped" us dinner to make up for it but told us we could only do it on one night, we weren't able to pick what we wanted to eat ourselves, the food we got was inedible, and we had to pay for our own drinks.

Then they were supposed to have booked us a full day kayaking tour. When we arrived at reception at 8am and said we were there for the tour the woman acknowledged us and said to sit down. Then at 8:15 I asked if things were running late and then the receptionist told us that pickup isn't until 8:30 - 8:45. Would have been nice if she mentioned that when we arrived over 30 minutes early. We went back to our room and when we came back at 8:40 we were told that due to "low tide" the tour was going to start at 10. We arrived at 10 and went on our tour. Once there the tour guide told us that actually the hotel just never called to book the tour until that morning when they should have done it the day before. Then we only got a half day tour. I still can't believe that they lied to us about the situation. When we were checking out they offered us the price difference between a full and half day tour which is appreciated but never acknowledged the fact that they lied or even apologized.

The pictures of this hotel are so deceptive. We could not have been more disappointed in real life.

The only redeeming thing this hotel has to offer is the bartender and beach bar which shockingly has really great drinks. Spare yourself and do not book a hotel room here but go to the happy hour!

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights 4 days for our family. The hotel is located next to the sea, their cafe is facing the sea. You can have breakfast overlooking the sea and feel the sea breeze. Breakfast is included. Breakfast was good and consider enough varieties of foods.
Room is big and authentic and value for money. There are 2 swimming pools, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. If you rent a car their hotel staff will help you to park when there are limited parking space. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
The hotel location is near a lot of shops, restaurants and night market.
Highly recommend

The positive is the location. The hotel is in the intersection of the two main roads and on the beach shore. So all available amenities are within walking distance. The positive is also a negative as our room was noisy from street traffic, music and the tour boats leaving early morning, throughout the day and evening. We were encouraged by the look of the front of the building and the reception area but this quickly dissipated as we saw the state of the motel behind the modern facade. The room itself was cleanish but in need of some serious maintenance and attention. The place really needs to be refurbished. We had to stuff towels in the door gaps to prevent the mosquitoes from entering. Dont bother paying extra for the seaview room as the sea vista is primarily trees and utility wires. The pool was very nice. Front desk staff were excellent. Dining room staff were rude. It is a suitable facility if you're accustomed to camping looking for good value, not recommended for much else.
