This is our second trip to this lovely family friendly resort. You have your own 2 or 3 bedroom villa with great pool and lovely food. Owners are supee friendly going above and beyond to make your stay great. Its a 5 minute drive to main road and beach with hourly shuttle or you can rent a scooter and local... More

The villas are nicely styled and the ambience is lovely. Big property, very calm surrounding with a view of the mountains. Villa with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a well equipped kitchen is perfect for a family of four. The owner Svein and his Thai wife Oy were very very helpful and accomodating. He even kindly provided transport to... More

I found this resort on Air Bnb. Pictures were great and the location seemed great as well. The trip was supposed to be myself, my husband, my two children and my sister and brother in law. So a 3/2 house seemed ideal. My children ended up not going and we no longer needed a 3/2 so the owner worked with... More

We stayed at this family owned resort just outside Ao Nang. The resort is nice and clean and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and very quiet. A shuttle service takes you to Ao Nang beach every hour. The small restaurant serves excellent Thai and European food and the free Wifi is fast and reliable. Last but not least, the customer... My family (2 adults, 6 children) just returned from an amazing 5-day vacation at Baan Sawan. The owners answered emails promptly and arranged the airport transfer easily. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and made to feel welcome. We stayed in the family (3 bedroom) villa and it more than met our needs. It was cleaned every day, bottled water... More

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Around 2 miles from Ao nang centre. Free transport from hotel every hour till 8.15 pm. As we often were coming back early hours in the morning we just got tuk tuk for 200 - 300 Baht. Very quiet and clean. Large swimming pool and good food and drinks in bar . Loved owners... More

During our time here in August 2015, we felt very awkward. We were the only people staying at the resort (that we could tell). We didn't see a single other person. There were locals on the property more than anything. It almost seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Half the time, there was no one at the front... More

Cleanliness. Friendly ppl. Easy access to ao nang with shuttle however the huge pail of water right outside of the house with many pupaes and wriggles lavae of mosquitoes really got to go. You have to kill many of them with sprays and burners and air con has to be on 24-7

This is a clean, quiet, wonderful place to stay. We stayed with our kids for two weeks in November, and we loved being in our own little villa. You can't always tell whether a place is going to be clean or a dive, but this place is the real deal. Each room is its own little "mini house". Ours was... More

This is an excellent choice if you love countryside quiteness, serenity and away from the tourist hotspot. The staffs are very helpfull especially Tom who will assist us for any tours arrangement. When we were there for 5 nights, we had the pool for ourself, with another family. A recommended place for family and kids who love swimming.

“Just choose his resort if you want a good value resort in Ao Nang. It might look to be a little away from the main tourist street, but in reality it is not far at all. Certainly better value, and very comfortable place indeed. Getting away from the touristic madness of the main street isn't such a bad idea anyway!”
