Wow loved this place we arrived to a room upgrade ...the pool was great the breakfast was good and the shuttle bus into town was perfect ...the room was very clean and staff very friendly and very helpful .,..loved it can't wait to go back
Lovely place staff was what made the place ! Transport took u to Ao nang beach but would have prefer a later pick up No food there so that could cause a problem for some people Lovely people work there
We visited there whole October. Very good price quality value. Wonderful personnel, warm feeling. Nice breakfast, clean room. I had rented car, but bus transfer to Ao Nang is a great value. And owner arranges many kind of trips, just ask. Place and surrounding was peaceful and quiet. But the best part of this place is garden. It's just lovely and well kept. And it's beautiful in day and nighttime. And with some birds and butterflies. Pool is small but big enough to swim some rounds . If I really have to find some minus, it's that cottages shower need to be updated. But after all – highly recommended if you like gardens and peaceful surrounding.
Very peaceful, beautiful and clean. A place to recommend .Can organise the best tours ever, staffs and owner very friendly. Swimming pool, pool, restaurant there, you can stay in if you want to relax...
Very helpful staff; nice and relaxing place to stay with a very clean swimming pool. Rooms are as well looked after every day and breakfasts have all you need (fruit, eggs on 3 different ways, toast, croissants, salad, rice..) Free shuttle to Ao Nang center and very good organization and advise for the daily trips to the Islands!
We booked Ao Nang Baan Suan Resort for 2 nights. We called from the airport we will arrive around midnight 24:00. The lady on the phone told us it won't be a problem. We booked our Taxi to the resort and when we arrived the gate was closed and nobody was on the resort. We paid for 2 night. We had to book another hotel very lately and make more cost for the taxi. This hotel is a scam, never book here! You will get diasapointed.
Stopped here for 2 weeks & the whole experience was amazing! The staff from day 1 right through to day 14 could not do enough for us! The gardens are gorgeous & well maintained by the hard working gardeners. The pool is small but ample for us as we basically had it to ourselves for the whole 2 weeks! The rooms are basic but comfortable (the beds unbelievably comfortable. The bathrooms could do with a bit of an update but completely functional. The aircon a bit hit & miss (more of a miss in our daughters room), but did get offered a new room. Each room has a mini fridge & good views of the garden. No hairdryer or toiletries are supplied but was expecting this as only 3 star. Bring insect repellant if you are prone to mosquito bites as in the sticks & we got bit every single night (quite badly), not the hotels fault of course but be warned (wouldn't put me off staying in this little corner of paradise again but best to be prepared ). The trips from here are very competitive & all recommended by us (kayaking & elephant sanctuary an absolute must.Would like to thank all the staff at Baan Suan resort for making our stay the best possible experience we could of wished for. …
Very nice bungalows/rooms with everything you need. A bit away from the center of Ao Nang but there is a free shuttle provided that goes to the center of town every hour of the day (only a 10 min drive). The women at the front desk are very friendly and will provide you with any information or tour bookings you may want. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay: this is it!
Good points: large, spacious room, comfy bed, nice pool, lovely scenery, good breakfast, free shuttle to Ao Nang for beach and restaurants. Bad points: Air con was pretty bad - took ages to cool down the room and was too warm during the day - couldn't just sit in the room as it was so hot inside. Took the duvet out of the sheets to sleep in as was too warm. Eventually cooled down over night, as always woke up to nice temperature - but not really good enough. Also, there were gaps between the wood where windows are - a lizard crawled through, and also won't help the air con. Lots of ants in the room and bathroom, kept finding dead flies in the bathroom too. Shower powerful but only cold temperature.
I was expecting a bed in a shed in the jungle, but instead got a small palace in The Garden of Eden surrounded by Angels of Kindness. The room was spacious, clean, airy and air-conditioned with hot and cold running geckos. An emperor sized comfy bed welcomed restful sleep (extra single if required),or a TV was present if you had jet-lag insomnia or really tried superhard to get bored, Tea,coffee, drinking water were replenished daily along with bedding and towels if desired (otherwise every other day by default). The shower room was great: two heads to stand under to cool off or wash as required. Lovely outlook onto an immaculately maintained pool , big enough for a reasonable circuit and open sunrise, sunset and by moonlight.I loved the night swim in moonlight serenaded by frogs. Paths meander through lush tropical plants which are labelled by day giving a botanical garden air and by night illuminated by huge glowing lanterns that float like jellyfish. Again the plants are well tended..I like a neatly trimmed box :). Even the apples are there in this Eden - except they are actually Calabash Gourds which bizarrely look like they have been superglued onto a bough. The Angels that staff reception are lovely, Su, Nee and Fa; as is Kai the 'Janitor' (I think that was his role). Nee is supersmart with a degree in IT and so can navigate all media, communications and Thai Sim dealings on your behalf. She was so adept at organising free transport into Ao Nang and places beyond, and all staff would be just so astoundingly helpful, obliging and caring , with good humour and sense of fun when we, with mutual persistence, resolved any moments that through subtle nuance were 'Lost in Translation'. The resort also hosts 'Mariam tours' and so offers special rate to visitors for trips and experiences that match without negotiation the Ao nang town tour prices that you arrive at through 'haggling', which is great if like me you are not a Poker-faced haggler.Their pick-ups and boats are safe and well-serviced too. Any meals I wanted were cooked to order, delicious and cheap (though I did have to convince them i did want them 'Thai Spicy' hotness, as they were initially overprotective of the assumed delicacy of my Western pallate. Anyway my stay was flawless, regenerative, and healing - no I'm not exaggerating ,it really felt as if the place was 'heaven sent'.…
