We booked Sabai Resort for 3 nights in January 2020 follow by recomendation of our friends who been there in last year. This is really very good place with friendly staff, good looking bungalows (simple but clean) great green area and nice swimming pool. We loved this place and want to come back when it can be possible again. Can recommend this accommodation to everyone!
We stayed at Sabai resort for the first 3 nights in Thailand and It's quiet, it was just what we wanted to acclimatise to the heat. Cha Cha, the lady who seems to run the place is lovely. Ao Nang is not inspiring and the beach is very muddy at low water. Railay bay is only a short boat ride away and although busy, is very beautiful.
Lovely resort with bungalows. Pool is good but sometimes shaded with the greenery around. Location is great. Very close to the beach, markets and ao nang landmark staff are friendly and booked tours for us and the airport shuttle. 5*
Everything at the Sabai Resort is cleverly organized. The bungalows are simple but contain all desirable features including a fridge and a gas range very convenient for boiling water for the first coffee of the day. But the most enjoyable place in the bungalow was the good-size terrace overlooking the carefully manicured gardens. The swimming pool, as mentioned by many reviewers, was also a very welcoming spot. Another aspect of the Sabai Resort that will stick in my memory is the kindness of the staff. Finally, there was a delightful and unexpected bonus: playing with Chanee, the energetic and mischievous kitten growing up at the Resort. The location of the Sabai Resort was perfect, about three minutes on foot to the impressive Hat Noppharat Thara beach lined with casuarina trees on the seaside, and by numerous small restaurants on the other side of the road. It was also a pleasant walk along the beach to Ao Nang (South-East), and to Noppharat Thara pier (North-West) where the boats to the Andaman islands depart. With cows and roosters in the nearby fields the resort still has a rural feel. However, as the very touristic region of Krabi expands, new constructions are sprouting fast in Noppharat Thara. My husband and I had a very enjoyable 8-night stay at the Sabai Resort and strongly recommend it.…
Nice place, only a few rooms to rent so if your after peace and quiet then definitely recommend it. Location is 3 minute walk from Nopharathara beach and its restaurants and bar but quite a walk from Ao Nang town centre (20 minutes). Breakfast is ok but they should add more options i.e. Different fruits, breads, juices, etc and some staff and the owners could be more friendly, approachable and helpful, too.
