the hotel is really big and it's like a museum full of old stuff you can't stop looking at. the parking is also filled with old cars and buses and they actually can be turned on!!! the rooms are enormous and the beds are really big. the only problem with the hotel is that it's too far from Amsterdam (about... The hotel is really quirky as the owners collect a huge variety of object displayed throughout the hotel and the grounds of the hotel. But not a speck of dust in sight!. The rooms were large, clean with comfortable beds and most if not all have wet rooms. Easily accessible for wheelchair users throughout the hotel. The food was a... More

This hotel was probably a former hotel specially for handicapt travelers. All rooms have a giant bathroom. The rooms are a bit rundown. Outside you will find a lot of interesting old cars and buses. Inside the bar and restaurant area you will find an enormous collection of old stuff. Amazing. Worth a visit.

This hotel has large, clean rooms and public areas, all designed for physically handicapped guests. When I visited, most of the guests were there for an international wheelchair sports competition. There are large lounges with comfortable couches. Dining was buffet. My room was convenient, comfortable and very clean, with a balcony overlooking pastures and a canal. The owners live on... More

Though the hotel appears normal at first sight it certainly turns out quite unusual. Though it's been a month since my visit I still can't quite sort out my feelings about it. It is 'equipped' that is decorated with all sorts of old souvenirs and other stuff that both fascinate you but at the same time give you goosebumps. It's... More

This was my second time in this hotel because they have some big benefits. For first location. Zaansche Saans, Hoorn, Keukenhof, Zuiderzeemuseum, Alkmaar and Amsterdam are from 15-40 minutest with car. Second is price. Value for money is not bad. reckon Holland. Third is nice pub in reception. Fourth is free big parking and fast WiFi. And fifth is exiting... More

This hotel I have been to a few times as a driver when my group stays in Amsterdam, and I think it is a brilliant hotel, although it is about a 30 min drive into Amsterdam or you can catch the public bus for about 9 euros return, bus stop is just outside the main entrance, the staff are very... This hotel is an absolute gem of a place. It's full of old memorabilia from different eras and is quirky and huge. The rooms are very large and clean. The hotel staff are excellent and couldn't do enough for us, the owners are also amazing and accommodated my very fussy daughter very well at meal times. Can't fault the place... More

Rooms were absolutely huge with the typical 'Ikea' sparse furniture that you would expect from the Netherlands. While it felt like a museum because of the crazy collection of all kinds of stuff, it also had a feeling of a retirement home because of the size of the elevator, the doors, rooms and bathrooms being a bit too accommodating to... The rooms are huge but dark. The shower is made in an old-fashioned way without any taste. Taking shower in a 3x3m room is the worst experience I had in that tour. The only thing you can enjoy is the breakfast with dozens types of cheese and bread and other staff. I think the museum style restaurant and nearby village... More
