From the beginning everything was O.K. Confirmation, contacts and welcome. rooms were well isolated, we did not any noise from other guests (but there was very happy child), air condition was good, a quality windows and doors, fantastic bathroom except loud ventilator. Mosquito nets are good and you will need them. Try to eat only sea food and you will not be disappointed. Breakfasts are simple but tasty. There is fantastic pool and 130 steps to sea.
Our arrival was a wonderful surprise, so much more visually appealing than the images on the website. The house and grounds is set within peaceful rustic surroundings with the soporific sound of lapping waves and the chorus of crickets. Gordana and her family are warm, friendly and accommodating. Our evening meals were cooked with love. Unpretentious, delicious, honest home cooking at its best. Our comfortable ‘Deluxe’ room looked recently renovated and spotlessly clean. The stunning infinity pool was lovely to swim in and to pause at the edge to look out across the emerald sea, with the occasional sail boat drifting pass. In the evening we enjoyed wallowing in the hot tub, looking up at the stars. The quality of our stay has been great value for money, a retreat that more than deserves 5 stars.…
A lovely late September break with sunshine (and a bit of rain), great food, good views and the warm welcome from a lovely family. Clean comfortable rooms, great pool and sitting, views across the Adriatic - perfect place for a rest! Nice walking but mainly this was to sit and relax for a few days. The bonus was the hospitality of Gordana and Srdjan. And lovely food - local, simple, tasty!
Villa Mirosa is small family run boutique hotel that is spectacular in all ways. My wife and I had planned to explore the island but ended up never wanting to leave the property! Beautiful ocean and pool swimming, wonderful views and an incredibly peaceful setting make this place a can’t miss. We did the half board option and had breakfast and dinner home cooked every night. Each day was something different and all dishes amazing! The fresh caught fish grilled or “under the bell” were very memorable.
This is a great apartment with great facilities, e.g. infinity pool that overlooks the sea, and rooftop jacuzzi. There are also a set of steps leading down to a great private swimming area with loungers. This is in a quiet area of Mljet and is a great location for relaxing. Hiring a car is worthwhile as you can see more of the island e.g. the National Park. The host Jordana is excellent, very friendly and welcoming.
