We stayed for 2 nights and it was all very lovely, from the cream tea that was ready and waiting for us, to the fresh milk and shortbread that was also there to welcome us. The hosts Janet and Paul were very kind, welcoming and friendly, they have created a tranquil retreat that has beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was amazing and had everything that you could possibly desire on the menu. We shall definitely be returning and a big thank you to Janet and Paul for a very pleasant stay.

Daughter booked all rooms for herself and immediate family for the night before and the big day No point in me repeating all the other fabulous reviews ...every word of how fantastic the food, accommodation, setting, hosts are is true. It is faultless. - Stables suite was perfect size and environment for the Bride, Mother and 4 Bridesmaids to dress and be transformed together - Gardens beautiful kept, spacious with many tasteful features ideal for varied pre-wedding photos - Stables suite is tucked away from the main house enabling the choice for total privacy Having seen their website prior to our stay I was not surprised that the hosts were expert at providing 5 star B&B but what blew my mind was the genuine warmth, thoughtfulness and the huge generosity of Paul and Janet As if all of the above was not enough Paul's calmness, clear thinking and kindness in ensuring Bride and Father got to the church was truly going above and beyond (Note: planned transport problem nothing to do with Hazel Manor) . THANK SO MUCH Paul and Janet

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Hazel Manor, beautiful grounds & lovely long driveway greet you upon arrival, along with the cute wild rabbits & cows in nearby field. We were greeted on arrival by Janet, unfortunately in the rain, shown to our double room with welcoming scones, jam & clotted cream on our table with fresh flowers! Room was small but comfortable enough for 2 people & was beautifully decorated with lovely views all around, bathroom also had large shower & lovely local toiletries. We are bath people but still lovely bathroom. We were advised by Janet that we were being upgraded to the stable cottage the next day which was amazing & so thoughtful of the hosts to offer us & when we were shown our new accommodation the next day, were blown away by the decor, style and space. There is a beautiful outside private terrace & well equipped accommodation with ample space & privacy & Netflix!!! There are some beautiful artwork on the walls too. We had breakfast package which was delivered to our room each morning by Janet at our preferred time which we ordered the night before. The quality and choice of food was amazing & only added to our wonderful stay which felt like home from home. There are also wonderful Pastries and loved that everything was served in a cup and saucer. Janet is an amazing cook. We were lucky with weather & grounds are lovely with seating area next to a beautiful pond and also a Summrf House, lovely to chill out. I also am a runner & went running into Harrogate a few times which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Janet & Paul for your hospitality & making this one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Also great talking with Paul and hearing his fasinating stories was great. We will certainly return in the future to explore more of the Dales 👌

Fabulous room (Room1) which was bigger than expected. Beautifully decorated and well thought out in terms of layout. Fluffy bathrobes provided and a selection of drinks with fresh milk and freshly baked shortbread. The scones with clotted cream and jam on arrival were much appreciated! Breakfast was ordered the evening before and delivered to the room to be COVID-safe and worked very well. All the breakfast items were delicious. Fantastic view from the window seat. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful.

Arrived for a two night break at this beautiful home. We had a complimentary upgrade to the Stable Block a delightful self contained flat with beautiful furnishings comprising kitchen ,bathroom loungeand separate bedroom it really had the wow factor..Janet had greeted us as we got out of the car with a very warm welcome she was wearing a face mask and so were we and we felt extremely safe under the present circumstances. Nothing was to much trouble..Breakfast was delivered to our kitchen , I defy anyone to provide a better breakfast anywhere perfectly cooked and presented. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us but we really didn’t mind as we were so happy to spend time at this delightful place.. would love to go back when restrictions are lifted to really get to know Janet and Paul better as they are lovely hosts.Peacefully located but on the fringe of so many places to see in the area. We would highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed.
