We spent 4 nights at Hazel Manor just after lockdown was lifting, and found everything absolutely perfect. Restrictions are in place, but this had no negative effect on our stay at all. The hosts, Janet and Paul were super accommodating, and friendly, while still maintaining social distancing and making us feel very safe. The accommodation is amazing, really high quality on all accounts, and included extras that we were not expecting. We ordered a gourmet hamper which was waiting for us on arrival, and provided a lovely supper that evening plus enough for lunch for a couple of days. The location is great, only a few minutes drive from Harrogate centre, but in such peaceful surroundings. I cannot praise Janet and Paul enough and would recommend Hazel Manor 100%

Janet and Paul are excellent hosts, fitting of the high standard accommodation. They gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and all Covid measures in place. Delicious breakfast served in bed on both mornings. Would definitely recommend a stay if visiting the area. Freshly made scones and shortbreads in the room were a lovely touch. The attention to detail was great..couldn’t have asked for more.

We had an amazing one night stay at Hazel Manor. Even with the current restrictions in place we were made to feel safe and welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Janet. It was peaceful and just what we needed after the long drive from Essex, and walk around Ripley Castle. Breakfast was amazing and the suite was stunning.

Well what can I say about this amazing place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like royalty (without it been forced and stuffy) we booked for a night in February, as we arrived at the manor Janet met us with a welcome like we were family. She showed us to our beautiful decorated room complete with prosecco and invited us downstairs for homemade scones and tea (which again were amazing) we chatted in front of the fire with Janet and husband Paul like we had known them years. Paul insisted he drive us to Harrogate for our pre booked meal which was a lovely touch. On arriving back at the manor they had turned our room into ‘night friendly’ blinds pulled, chocolate on the pillow and scatter cushions removed. Our room was that special we didn’t want to go to sleep we just wanted to stay awake and enjoy all the little touches that made this place so special. Breakfast arrived and yes guess what..... amazing. Paul met with us a homemade smoothie for the hangover, followed by breakfast ordered off the menu. I honestly can not say enough about this place, I would of paid double the price for this start to finish exceptional experience.
