Great B&B with a fantastic vie over the Drome river. Superb green terrace and very nice hosts. Tip: have dinner with the hosts. Saillans also is a very nice village, situated in a fantastic part of France.

The hosts of this B&B were aggressive and made my family feel very uncomfortable. Frederic, the owner was extremely rude to my wife when she left a light on in the kitchen. Lovely village but i wouldn't recommend this stay, particularly if you have young children.

We stayed at this amazing place for two nights. Such a great experience it was, the house itself has such a history and has been renovated in a truly remarkable way with lots and lots of personal touches. The outside terrace, well, hardly any words for it...so relaxing, a true experience by itself. I recommend this place to everyone looking around for a nice place to stay in this area. The hosts are super nice, the breakfast is all home made, and they have a whole book in their living room with trips to be done in the neighbourhood. We came in places where otherwise we would never have gotten to, lots of hidden treasures to be found there. For those who are interested there are also lots of wineries in the neighbourhood. In short: A highly recommended place to stay! Tom & Barbara

My wife and I stayed at Chambres Frederic Morin et Salome in April 2017 and had the absolute best experience. Frederic and Salome are excellent hosts and made sure we felt comfortable and at home during our few days there. We had the Picasso room which felt very private and we had the most beautiful views of the water and mountains. In the evenings, Frederic played piano for us and in the mornings Salome made us a delicious breakfast. Frederic and Salome are very easy to talk to and gave us great recommendations of places to visit and local restaurants to try. We are already planning our next trip to visit again!

We stayed with Frederic and Salome for 2 nights, May 3-5, 2017. We were traveling by bicycle and there was easy, safe storage for our bikes in a large room right near the front door. We chose the Picasso room which we loved. It was filled with copies of Picasso's paintings, painted by Salome. It had gorgeous views of the Drome River and the Trois Becs mountain area. Frederic advised us on road bike rides and hikes in the area, which as a native of Drome, he knew well. We decided to bike to the Col de la Chaudiere. We had left our US-to-European plug adapter in our previous room and felt lost without it. Frederic loaned us his, until we were able to replace ours at the small electronic shop in Saillans. He offered to let us take his to keep, if we were not able to find one. The multi floor B&B is filled with art work (paintings, statues, textiles) and books and lovely furniture. One could spend hours exploring and enjoying the ambiance. Frederic played the piano before dinner. We were fortunate that Frederic and Salome were able to prepare dinner for the 2 evenings and we shared the meal with them and a couple from Lyons. They were willing to speak English, but we prefered speaking our basic French and they accommodated us. Staying at this B&B was a truly highlight of our month long bike tour of the Drome area of France.
