Never anyone at reception. Terrible service, promised free WI-FI which is a lie. Charge for everything, including towels. No cleaning products given but expected to clean and leave the place immaculate as they have no cleaners. Duvets do not exist, only dirty blankets. Only disposable bed sheets for single beds even for double beds. Pictures make this sh*thole look much better than it is. Charged money from the deposit with no reasonable explanation as to why. DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolutely pathetic in all departments.

I left the residence more than 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to get my deposit of 300 euros back. They hardly ever reply to emails and they guy at the reception didn't know how to replace the paper roll in the pos when I was asked to pay the depost. Cheeking in has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my entire life, I had to go back to the reception three days in a row and I ended up cheeking in and out at the same time. I wouldn't recomend.

Attended during Rise Festival - here are just a few issues we had when staying at Edelweiss. - We received our keys 5 hours late with Rise festival nor the hotel taking ownership of their customers. - When walking through the corridor to our room, the hallway had a terrible sewage stench. - The bedding provided was the worst I have ever experienced and was laughable. - The only light in the boot room broke midweek and was left for the rest of the week untouched, dangling in the centre of the room leaving residents in darkness when putting on ski boots. - We lost 1/4 of our deposit to no fault of our own due to a broken light in the foyer and rubbish left out in the corridor by other residents. We felt extremely hard done by. - On leaving, we were provided with an A4 piece of paper on how to clean the apartment (see attached). - Clear to see the hotel do not care about its customers.

So, was a little bit apprehensive about going here based on the reviews I had seen about this place. But because we (me, wife and two girls) were going during school half term this was the best value we could find. The room was basic, but more than adequate and having a dishwasher was ace. It needed a good airing when we got there, but nothing opening the windows for a few minutes didn't sort. Ski locker held all our clobber just fine. And the location was perfect, 100m walk to slopes out from locker room back door. Just watch when skiing back at the end of the day you take the green only up to the poma cut through. We had two long walks when we messed it up the first two days, but that was fully our fault. Once we sussed that it was a really easy finish at the end of the day with the two skiied out kids. Kids had a separate space to sleep in which was fab. The only thing I would recommend is taking a spare pillow with you, theirs are rubbish. But in the scheme of things we had a great stay, and pillows was a minor point. Thanks for a great week Edelweiss.

Staying at the Eidelweiss, first let me say that this has to be the worst room I’ve ever been provided by Crystal Ski, with previous locations in this resort being the residence alba which is the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at and would push that at a 4 star and would stay at over and over again. Anyway i detract , avoid the eidelweiss like the plague , paper thin walls, no noise control it’s like staying on school camp with idiots running about drunk through the whole establishment until all hours with no respect for people sleeping, poor decor throughout, the boot room is un heated and a Asthmatics nightmare with a roof covered in flaked paper insulation, i could go on but it’s pointless, they obviously have no respect for the hotel or it’s guests, return visitors we will not be and amazed that crystal have this on their books.
