What an AMAZING experience. The beauty of the setting, architecture and aesthetics of the hôtel, incense-like perfume of wood-burning, gracious hospitality of the staff, spacious rooms w most comfortable bed... AND exquisite food in the dining room!!! A must-live experience.

We loved this hotel. There were many surprises in nooks and crannies. It was very authentic. The art on each floor was amazing. The animal skins were soft and warm and included in each room. We took a tour of the museum and it was very interesting (however, do not take tour with Dominick--he talked mostly about himself and made... More

Beautiful hotel with a traditional Indigenous atmosphere. Food was exceptional. Service was above and beyond. The attached museum provided an opportunity to be immersed in the history and experience of the Wendake Nation, the oldest reservation in North America.

As there is no abundance of interesting hotels in Canada, this hotel was a really nice surprise for us. Very modern but with style. If you are a greener or vegan – do not go there, as you risk facing a pillow made of a beaver or a giant moose trophy surrounded with bear, wolf and fox skins. In my... More

Kwe (hello), Thank you for your nice comments! We are pleased that your stay was pleasant with us and you enjoyed the Huron-Wendat culture. Remember that hunting is part of the Huron-Wendat culture and that we do it with respect. Hunting has always been a need and not a hobby, so that each time we take the time to purify... More

The hotel itself is very nice with a pretty lobby, nice grounds and, in general, nice rooms. The beds are not super comfortable and the sheets are not properly fitted so that they bunch up. This is disappointing and enough to almost drop my rating down to average, but with the bedding issue resolved this can then be an excellent... More

Wery well designed to the Wendake's personality, the architecture of the hotel is distinct from any other in the world. The staff is mostly Wendake-Amerindian and is proud of the services it provides. The restaurant offers excellent if not gourmet meals. In addition, this modern and confortable hotel is completed by a small museum and a long house worth visiting... More

First, I have to say that I liked our little 2 night-3days with the family. We have 2 kids of 6 and 9 years old and they liked it over there. People might see it as a little expensive but I think it's worth it. It's really clean, decoration is really nice, stuffed animals, a lot of wood, it's really... More

Kwe, Thank you for your great feedback and we are very pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us. I loved this place, specially the spa in the garden, with a very nice jacuzzi and an outdoor fireplace. The room is huge and very confortable. The breakfast is light but tasty. Highly recommended but only for one or two nights. Nothing to do or to see in the area.

The hotel is lovely, as is the restaurant. However the nordic spa is a run-down, dreary affair. Cheap furnishings, one tiny bathroom for all guests, and tiny change room with lockers made out of plywood made me feel like I was in my cousin's basement, not at a spa in luxury hotel. The two small hot tubs were full of... More

This inn is a short fifteen minute drive from airport. Arrived later in the evening and front desk staff person was most welcoming. Alas restaurant was closed and no room service available at that hour. The room was lovely; in fact the entire hotel carried out the theme wonderfully even to the beaver throw pillows on the beds. The bed... More
