I was caught by night while traveling by car. The owner a lovely lady said I was lucky at that hour to get a space for night. All hotels on the road were busy. So there were: Fantastic view from the room, delicious real Scottish breakfast...If you have time to chat , you can listen a lot of interesting things... More

Our room had a nice view out over pastures of cows to the sea. It is a rural setting, but it is right next to the main road. It is near many interesting attractions such as the Cairns of Camster and Hill o Many Stanes. The hosts were kind and welcoming.

This is a B & B with a bit of a difference, I stay regularly on my way to/from work elsewhere in Caithness. The garden is lovely as is the breakfast and nothing is too much trouble for Andrew & Ann who make me feel at home. And at a great price!

Stayed for five days, had a lovely time, was made to feel very welcome. The homemade jams are delicious, I bought so many to take home with me! Really nice and warm, clean and homely at the same time. Great location, right on the main road means no detours adding extra time onto our journey and easy access to the... More

I had a delightful stay with Ann and Andrew . Their house was spotless warm and clean and the welcome was most friendly . I felt like I was staying with friends . The breakfast was delicious and the sausages were the best I'd eaten in 2 weeks . I loved it and I slept like a log x Sarah... More

Almost at the tip of Scotland and sat on the roadside just outside Lybster with stunning views of the sea sits Croft House B&B. From the moment I phoned Ann's friendly and helpful advice made me feel it would be ok. I'd left it a bit late to find somewhere while on a course in Lybster but nothing phased Ann.... More

I cannot remember when I have enjoyed staying in a B & B so much. From my arrival to Ann's welcoming smile to my genuine sadness at having to go home, it was all such fun. I was so well looked after and as a consequence ate FAR too much but my breakfasts were just wonderful. Talk about setting me... More

Surprisingly good accommodation in more or less the middle of nowhere - very clean with investment in showers and super fast wifi and a great breakfast. The hosts are most welcoming - great value at 55 pounds - underpriced for what you get - It's about a mile to the village and the pubs don't do food every day -... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a cold and snowy April, and Ann and Andrew were perfect hosts. We had freedom to sit in the sunny conservatory or the large sitting room at the back. Fresh milk in the bedrooms, great hot and powerful showers, and a fantastic breakfast including home-made jam. A special trip to buy Thurso smoked... More
