Stayed here for a long weekend. The B&B was very homely and cosy and the hosts were brilliant. Spotless rooms. Very competitively priced. Couldn't find fault at all. Highly recommended. Will definitely return

It seemed like a nice place to begin with, but the bedding stank of linen that had been left damp for a long time and possibly not washed properly in the first place. This was very unpleasant and really quite unacceptable.

We are sorry that you only found the courage to write such a damning review of our services yet never said a word about it when you came into breakfast or indeed in all the time you were here. You will see from our other reviews that we are a very highly respected B & B. However in an effort...

We visited Acarsaid as a family and had a double and a twin room. Both were extremely spacious and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were lovely and very generous, but what really made it special was Sheena, the owner. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she has a lot of local knowledge and interesting stories about the...

Wonderful! I stayed at Acarsaid while taking a class at North Lands Glass and it was more than I ever expected. Sheena and Norma were gracious hosts and truly made me feel at home. Sheena made wonderful cooked Scottish breakfasts every morning and introduced me to new Scottish cuisine. Every night, she greeted me at the door with a cup...

Acarsaid BnB was recomended to me by Northlands Glass and they were absolutely right. I stayed there for 3 weeks while attending glass classes in Lybster. I was welcomed by Friendly Norman and Sheena from the beginning and enjoyed their conversation and knowlegde of the village and surrounds. Sheena makes a fabulous and generous breakfast with many different options. My...

I was cycling from Lands end to John o Groats, and stopped at Acarsaid. My wife was driving the car as my support, and we were given a very warm welcome from Sheena and Norman. The room was lovely, clean, and we had an en-suite, and a t.v in the room. Sheena and Norman gave us a quick drive down...

Acarsaid is a very comfortable B & B and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. Sheena is a great host and went out of her way to make us feel at home. The guest rooms are quite separate from the owners living area which I think is a bonus for all. Accommodation also includes a large and comfortable guest lounge with...
