The balcony floor is not clean, few small snail shell stick on the wall and dust on the edge of the wall. The TV remote control is not functioning & no signal for few channel. All these issues are rectified after requested. No animation/cartoon channel from check-in till check-out. No fan available near to bed (neither ceiling nor table fan)....

This hotel has to be one if the best in Malaysia, nothing us too much trouble for the staff from the room attendants right the way through to the manager. Probably the most attentive I've ever encountered in over forty years of overseas travel. The rooms are superb, restaurants excellent, forest trek not to be missed. Overall - exceptional.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The chick in time is 3 pm but the room was ready at noon. The check in was fast. The receptionists were very friendly and efficient. They answered all my questions about the local attractions and showed all the hotel facilities. I booked a standard room. It...

The hotel is very good however the spa was not amazing! The spa's presentation was great I did enjoy the mint tea bath but they treaked to us about the time, we paid for 100 mins but only got 80mins treatment. We only realised afterwards.

Dear Yonnie d, Thank you for sharing your experience during your recent stay at Cameron Highlands resort. It saddens me that you felt you were tricked you about the time. I believe you booked for Lapis-Lapis (Malay Herbal wrap) for 50 mins and Balinese massage for another 50 minutes. Based on our log, your treatment finished on time. As for...

We arrived in the evening and stayed only for one night, but boy we sure enjoyed ourselves just relaxing in the room. The rooms are excuisitely decorated and so is the lounge & reception. Our room overlooked the main road and gold course and never had an issue with noise. The welcome drink at check-in was a nice touch of...

The hotel looks really good from the outside. Service was good, staffs were polite. However it was quite noisy especially at night (my room was facing the main road) but tolerable. The most disappointing part of the stay has ought to be the breakfast. The buffet area has very limited choices of food, and the ala carte food from the...

If you are looking for a hospitality experience, this is IT. Every single staff we interacted with made us feel welcomed. As what some other guests have mentioned, majority of the staff are not locals, but in my opinion a good service is a good service regardless if they are local or otherwise. The property of course is just beautiful....

For a 5-star resort, the services and hospitality are nowhere near what it claims to be. Most of the staffs including the waiters are foreign which is okay as long as they are properly trained for a 5-star service but unfortunately they appear to be not. Had been to all YTL resorts in Malaysia except for the one in Gaya...

The positives of this hotel for us were the restaurant, the lounge and the spa, all were excellent in terms of decor and service. However we did find it disappointing in part, although it pains us to say so as the staff, generally, were just lovely. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set amidst tea plantations and rolling hills, this boutique hideaway promises all the splendour, romance and nostalgia of Cameron Highlands’ grand colonial heritage.Tall French doors, timber-beamed ceilings and plantation shutters add colonial charm and a touch of nostalgia to our rooms.Enjoy a refreshing round of golf, a pink-cheeked ramble along jungle trails, or a leisurely walk through tea plantations and strawberry farms. To recover, you can have a cup of tea in the drawing room, or a tea bath at the Spa Village, or you may simply choose to spend the day curled up with a good book by the fireplace.Cameron Highlands Resort is situated on the largest hill retreat in Malaysia, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, lush greenery, rolling hills and Tudor-styled cottages. The luxurious boutique Resort features 56 beautifully-appointed rooms and suites, and fronts Cameron Highlands' 18-hole golf course. It also houses the third wellness centre of the award-winning Spa Village group, which offers exotic treatments focusing on the healing and restorative properties of tea. Located in the state of Pahang, approximately 200 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands is a beautiful holiday destination and the only place where you can find tea plantations and strawberries in Malaysia. At about 1,500 metres above sea level, it is the highest area on the mainland and enjoys a cool climate and fresh air, with temperatures ranging between 15° and 25° Celsius. Much of the character of the highlands remains unchanged since colonial times. It is endearingly known to some as the 'little corner of England in Asia'. The cool climate on the picturesque plateau and its surrounding hills and forest make this a popular retreat for golfing, jungle trekking and exploration of the many plantations and gardens. Cameron Highlands Resort is ideal all year round for families, honeymooners and holidaymakers out to satiate their appetites for trails, tales and tradition. ... more   less
