We stayed for 4 nights right at the end of the season based on positive reviews from Tripadvisor and weren't let down. The owners Chris and Miranda (helped by Darren!) could not do enough for us - advising on the best resort and sorting ski lessons & hire out - you are spoilt for choice with loads of options nearby....

We have stayed at Chalet La Giettaz twice now and can't wait to return after Christmas 2012. Chris and Miranda have been wonderful, so welcoming and friendly, and especially helpful both when our son was poorly and needed a doctor, and then when our car broke down just as we were ready to head home! Chris's excellent French was a...

I've stayed at Chalet La Giettaz twice and plan to go back next season too. The location is quiet with stunning views. Apartments are very well equipped, spacious, tastefully & simply decorated and clean! Plenty of hot water. Option of eating at the chalet bar if you don't fancy cooking or going down to the village. The bar is very...

This is a heavenly place and a real retreat. Comfortable, immaculate and spacious apartments with outstanding views across the valley. Wonderful skiing for all ages and abilities just down the road. We booked two adjacent apartments with an adjoining balcony - one for our family (2 adults plus a 4yr old and 1yr old) and the neighbouring one for my...

If you're looking for a more traditional ski break, away from the crowds, offering excellent value for money and without compromising on the quality of your accomodation then look no further. Having just returned from a late season 4 night stay I can definately recommend the Chalet La Giettaz, the accomodation is to a high standard (yes the beds are...

Can't say enough about how great our stay was at Chalet La Giettaz. Place was very comfortable, spacious, clean, well-equipped and well-cared for. Very attentive service from Chris and Miranda, from the offers to ferry us around in their van and even shop for us, to the delicious morning baguette and croissant, local cheese and milk. Not to mention the...

Having just come back from a wonderful winter holiday at this chalet, I want to say how wonderful and magical this place really was. We benefited from wonderful weather and great skiing conditions, however the friendly ski resort even in the British half term was free from the most of the queues you get at other resorts. Plenty of choice...

We've just returned from a week-long break at this wonderful chalet, where we celebrated New Year and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our apartment was very clean, comfortable, stylishly decorated and well equipped. The chalet itself was situated in a pretty, tranquil location with breath-taking views of the surrounding area which looked especially beautiful in the snow. I honestly couldn't...

I had the pleasure of staying here recently (summer time) so it was late summer. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during the snow. Chris & Miranda, a lovely young couple from the UK, were on hand immediately to help me with everything from planning my onward trip to recommending a place in nearby chic Megreve for...

We stayed (as a family with two small children under 5yrs) during August 2011 and had a truly amazing week. The setting and views are breath-taking and just far enough away from the larger resorts to get a more authentic Alps experience, but within reach of a wealth of activities and places to see. The hosts (Chris and Miranda) were...
