Booked a superior double room for myself & my husband for a long weekend. Chose this hotel because it is on the Oxford canal & our son & his wife live on a narrow boat nearby. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed & a large bathroom with an amazing jacuzzi bath with efficient over bath shower.Plenty... More

Stayed for one night in a twin room. For the price I wasn't expecting a palace and first impressions where ok, how wrong was I! Went to the bar to check in nice greeting taken to room. Linen was clean and room looked ok. Was advised breakfast started at 8am at weekends which was the time I had to leave,... More

I cannot review this hotel because unfortunately the manager/owner Nick failed to record our booking correctly. We phoned the hotel about 10 days prior to our arrival date and spoke to Nick who took our booking for a twin room, took details of my debit card and then informed me of the cancellation policy of the hotel and what time... Chose this place as we have a motorhome and wanted somewhere handy to visit Blenheim Palace, and there wasnt much else on offer in the area (apart from a CC Site) Welcomed by Mark, a very pleasant young man. Electric hook up but no facilities, apart from the pub toilets when it was open.Nightly price was reasonable.Canal side location, though... More

OK so it isn't the Ritz, if that's what you're after you'll be paying a lot more. I booked a twin room for my daughter and I to work at the Blenheim International Horse Show. Perfect location, only 5-10 minutes away. It's a nice old stone pub but it's having some work done so there are some resemblances to a... More

This was our second stay this year and again we could not fault it. Reading some of the reviews here we have never experienced those problems. Yes the floorboards do creak but if you were three hundred years old so would you ! Check in is seamless, the room we had the same as last time was spotless, lovely clean... More

On arrival we found we were misled by the website about the camping facilities. Although the website clearly states campers have the use of showers, toilet facilities and wifi upon request. There were in fact no showers and only use of the pub toilet, when the pub was open. Additionally to request these facilities we needed to speak to a... More
