Last minute decision to grab a night away , we wanted that old fashioned pub b&b feel and we weren't disappointed , rooms were in good order and food , especially breakfast was fantastic , with Ely, Cambridge and Wicken Fen all close by it made for a great base

We stayed on a Saturday night and overall the pub (with accommodation) is a little gem. The room was of a good standard and clean and would appear to have been recently refurbished. Certainly very good value for the money. Staff (and locals!) are very friendly. Breakfast, which is extra, was also very good. The idea of paying for what...

Booked here last minute for a meeting the following day in Cambridge, was a little worried booking a single room and only having two left that day however we were pleasantly surprised. This is a village pub with rooms and we were greeted by very friendly and happy staff, we checked in at the bar and were shown to our...

Pretty good value for money although rooms a little basic and wifi on and off in rooms (fine in the bar). Very good staff, friendly and helpful. Solid food which again was good value. Overall pretty reasonable value for money all in. SB

If you wake up at 3AM with an insatiable craving for a bagel with salmon and cream cheese then this hotel is not the place for you. As hotels go this is a pub with rooms so set expectations for that. I stayed two nights, which included two breakfasts and an evening meal. The room...small, adequately furnished and unremarkable with...

Our room was clean, well stocked tea, coffee and biscuits, huge shower with lashings of hot water, ok maybe the mattress was a little bit too hard for our liking but it wasn't unbearable. Staff were friendly and polite, good choice of beers etc. breakfast was very enjoyable. We stayed here to enable us to go out with friends that live...

We (4 adults and 4 children) booked a table for lunch here last Saturday. All I can say is that it was a huge disappointment and more than a little embarrassing as we had suggested eating here to our friends, based on the pub's website. I ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese; the plate of food which was...

Decided to book via groupon and it was fantastic value. The staff where very friendly and genuine - the room very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was fit for a king lol & even with my appetite I couldn't finish it all. Definitely a lovely little country pub with rooms and easy to get to and just about 15...

Just returned from a lovely wk end here bought with a Groupon voucher , staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating and the food was fantastic. Yes it was noisy but its a pub and this should be expected. Room was large and I would describe it as fair for the price we paid, lets face it your not gonna get...
