The hotel was stunning and fairly quiet while we were there. Our room was amazingly big and the staff went to so much effort to ensure we had a great time as we stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Breakfast was a real highlight and the best we had on our trip - on our last day we were presented with the biggest fruit platter we've ever seen, and the cooked breakfast options were great too. We managed to leave our card at the hotel and they were extremely helpful in contacting us and proposing a possible solution. I would definitely recommend!

Rooms were lovely, but no views. Given one on the ground floor only to be woken at 04:40 by hammering coming from above. My husband had to get up, get dressed & go to reception to complain as by 05:20 it was still going on. Apparently a child of a previous guest had put something down the drain (blocking it) and they were digging up the tiled floor to try to resolve the problem. The next morning we were moved to a room upstairs overlooking the pool. As it was approaching New Years Eve we were invited to a Gala Dinner and were told that 22 guests were already attending, so we thought we might as well join them, bearing in mind that it’s not a large hotel. On New Year’s Eve we got ready and made our way out to the garden & to our shock saw only 3 tables laid out for 3 couples. To say that we were shocked and upset that we’d been deliberately lied to is an understatement. We were stuck, so decided to make the best of it, but it was a damp squib as there was no music, no fireworks, no nothing. We’d really been duped into signing up for something that wasn’t how it had been depicted. Probably one of the worst New Years Eve’s of our lives. Had we know there was only going to be 6 people, we wouldn’t have agreed to go to the Gala dinner, but felt obliged to stay seeing as staff had already taken our food preferences for the evening earlier in the day. Yes the hotel was lovely, the room was decorated very tastefully but overall not happy with our stay 😢😢😢

We are a Canadian family of four and we loved our stay at Airavata. The staff are all wonderful, especially Dominic and Vidush, who made sure we always had everything we needed. Its a lovely quiet spot and the rooms are beautiful. the breakfasts are incredible! and its just a short tuk tuk ride away from the city centre.

Everything was nice, clean and well decorated. The breakfast was nice and the staff do their best to make you feel at home. 10/10 would stay again! The hotel is a bit hidden in an alleyway but it's a hidden gem.

George and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The small hotel of about 12 rooms is tucked away off the main road so really quiet. The garden is beautiful and having breakfast looking across was very pleasant. The pool and outside seating area nice for a cool down. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The evening meal of rice and curry was as good as anywhere else we've eaten. We asked for mild spice for 2 members of the group and they did this without any problem and it was delicious. The spaghetti carbonara for the little one was also good. The hotel is about 20 mins drive from Kandy centre, but for us this was perfect to be in a quiet area and relax after the bustle of the city. We only stayed one night whilst passing through Kandy but would happily stay a few nights to explore the area more.
