I visited this pub with my fiancee and a friend with our two dogs. We had room 6 and our friend had room 5. Our room was very big with a double bed and bunk beds. It was clean, tidy and there were fresh towels and soap bars laid out. There was also tea and coffee making facilities plus a... More

Beautiful English pub, great to sit outside as the sun goes down and have a drink or too. We stayed there for a few nights but a less than comfortable experience. The room was very tired, the bed was very soft and the sheets smelt of bad BO! The shower didn't work and it took 3 days to get hot... More

I stayed here with my partner when we were visiting friends locally and the rooms are comfortable and the service was great. We have eaten there twice, and the food is home cooked, great portions and very tasty. It's priced fairly and the staff are always really pleasant. The fish, chips and the mushy peas are absolutely divine!! In fact... More

Eaten here a couple of times, both with family. Friendly service, home cooked and well presented food. Possibly one of the best burgers we have ever had! Nice roast on a Sunday, booking advisable for this as they get quite busy. Only criticism would be that we were not offered more drinks at the table whilst eating, otherwise spot on... More

My family treated me to a meal for my 60th birthday there were around 13 of us. The weather was good so the children could play in the garden area while we could watch them. The service was excellent and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. My husband and I ordered the roast beef which unfortunately we found... More

There were several members of the family staying at The Bull for a couple of nights for a family funeral service in the village. This B&B pub/restaurant is in a beautiful village setting and has a regular clientele of all social types as well as ramblers and others. The bar serves a variety of ales and ciders as well as... I booked a room here as we were meeting family for dinner and it was convenient to be able to leave the car and enjoy a nice bottle of wine, the pub itself is lovely, it is in a lovely village setting, it is tastefully decorated as expected for a country inn. The staff were very welcoming and the bar... More

Just decided to go for a pub meal - waited ages to be served despite only 5 people in the bar. Waited ages to order food and then placed an order and then continued to wait! Table was filthy and other table littered with glasses. What a shame that this pub has gone down hill, it could be a gold... More

It is very easy to come along and put a place down especially when you read some of the other 'reviews' that appear with over exaggeration and false information. We are very aware who has written this review - and your behaviour towards the staff in this establishment was disgusting. You did not wait ages to be served, you came... More

Rooms were full of old cobwebs, clearly been there for some time. Too hot as towel rail heated entire room. Window latch was broken and toilet plumbing could wake the dead Staff while polite could do with some service training and show a welcome. Would not stay again, hate to say even the soElle's travelodge is better than this
