We had flown all night, rented a car in Glasgow, and headed out. As we looked for lodging, we were met with No Vacancy signs everywhere. In Buchlyvie, we took a chance and rang at Croft Cottage. Both rooms were vacant and we happily and gratefully booked them. The rooms were sizable, clean, and very comfortable. Fiona and Alan are...

Unfortunately we only stayed here 1 evening and only spoke with Allan for a few minutes upon checking in and then about 1 hr., in the morning during breakfast. Both times Allan was able to give concise directions to things we were looking for in Stirling, all directions being bang on. During that short time however, it was quite evident...

Alan is a helpful host with precise descriptions of local routes and attractions. B & B is small with only two rooms and on main street. There is a pub next door.but noise is not a problem. Covenient for Stirling.

An excellent B&B should give you the feeling that you are a welcome guest in somebody others home. Croft cottage is one of those rare B&B's that gives you exactly that feeling. Our hosts Gary and Fiona were very friendly. Breakfast is excellent (Gary is a good cook) and we enjoyed all the talks we had every morning with Gary...

We stayed in this B&B on the way from Stirling to Glencoe, arriving late (after8pm) and asking for a room. We got a very warm welcome with lots of tips for our further trip and stories from the surrounding. Alan was very keen on letting us feel comfortable and making sure we didn't lack anything. The room was really nicely...

We booked this B&B at fairly short notice and couldn't have been more delighted. Very comfortable, excellent accommodation and very welcoming and professional throughout. Great to be able to organise our day with lots to do whatever the weather. Particularly enjoyed Lake Katrine, hiring bikes for the return after our trip on the Sir Walter Scott, would have gone up...

We have stayed there only one night but we have been surprise by the very friendly couple( the owners Alan and Fiona).
