What an absolutely wonderful find. This stunning property on the coast with magnificent gardens is just a short but gorgeous drive through woods and countryside and conveniently located near Inverness. We had the ground floor suite leading on to the garden. It's very comfortable with the feel of a parlour and boudoir to it. Deirdre and Alasdair are truly wonderful... More

We stayed here overnight prior to our North Coast 500 road trip. The booking was easily done and we were provided with thorough and easily followed directions (don't use sat nav!). We were also given suggestion for dinner. When we arrived we were greeted with offers of tea/coffee and biscuits. The room was lovely and overlooked the beautiful garden. Breakfast... More

We stayed here for 1 night when we went to see Rod Stewart at the Thistle Ground and our only regret? We only stayed the one night. Located 10 minutes from the town centre this hidden gem sits within 20-30 acres of parkland, with beautifully manicured gardens and a view over the moray firth. Easy to find if you follow... More

Had a wonderful relaxing overnight stay here. Deirdre & Alisdair are so friendly & welcoming and we felt very well looked after. We enjoyed wandering round the huge garden which was really relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was lavish with lots of choice of cooked breakfast and huge bowls of fresh raspberries, blackberries, strawberries along with all the... More

Like almost all other reviews (we cant imagine how this would get less than five stars based on our experience!) for this B&B we have nothing but praise for the proprietors, Alasdair and Deirdre. The welcome and service we received, the beautiful gardens and surrounds, cleanliness and room decor all help create a wonderful experience. Unfortunately only able to stay... More

Deirdre and Alasdair charming and most helpful. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in their beautiful home. The grounds were beautiful and it was great for walking around the area. Not far to travel to local places after a wonderful local breakfast.

Together with my partner we spent 6 nights at Old Drynie while exploring the Highlands as part of our Summer holiday. We received a warm welcome when we first arrived and a welcome cup of tea. Our en-suite bedroom was very comfortable and we spent the first evening walking around the extensive grounds and 'drinking in' the superb views of... More

If you want beautiful gardens, a gorgeous B&B and simply the best service you will ever get. This is the place. Its location on the Black Isle allows you easy access to Inverness, Loch Ness and the west coast. Despite the rural location its only a taxi ride from Inverness town centre.
