We adore this pub, the food is always incredible, the welcome always homely and the children love playing outside (whether watching the canoeists or playing on the slides and swings). Their fish and chips and the bowl of mussels are fabulous!!! Everyone we have taken to the pub love it, really can't recommend the pub enough, my only regret is... More

Our first but definitely not last visit to this lovely inn! We had room 3 which was a spacious double with an additional small double cabin bed in an alcove, oh to be a child again!! The room was nicely decorated in neutral with a comfy bed, if I had to pick a negative it would have been the small... More

We are regulars at The Inn on the Tay and always enjoy our evenings here. The menus has been updated and has a varied selection, always find something to enjoy. This weekend it was Terrine for my husband & Tempura Prawns for myself followed by a lovely Chicken Pie for Hubby and Mussels for myself. Service from Josie was great... More

Our second visit to the Inn. Very clean (actually looked as if they had redecorated!) and tidy. Warm welcome and nice food. We had a smoked chicken salad and a chicken burger. The lunch menu is a little more limited than the dinner menu, but still has plenty to cover all tastes. A great place to stop for lunch if... More

We all had great food in a great atmosphere. Th waiting staff are excellent and very patient. There were 14 of us including children from Newtonmore to Hong Kong. We had a great time. The facilities for children are very good with a play area and excellent toys for them to play with at the table.

We went to the Inn on the Tay for dinner and drinks. It was a great night and the food was perfect! The millionaire shortbread desert was one of the best I've tasted and my friend said the toffee sauce was divine! Music in the bar afterwards was on point too. Great that they manged to fit ten of us... More

Perfect location to relax , enjoy great food and appreciate spectacular views. The owners have a hands on approach and are supported by a friendly team - in an informal relaxed way. We had a mix up with our booking which was entirely our fault and they could not have been more helpful in organising alternative accommodation Dog friendly in... More
