We had a meal here one evening as we were staying just up the road in Strathtay. The location is super right on the banks of the river as the name suggests. The restaurant was empty when we went thus lacking a little atmosphere (it was early evening though). The food we had was pretty good my partner had steak... More

We stayed just up the road from the Tay and ended up eating there both nights!! The view from the dining room of the River would be worth eating there in itself. Add the friendly staff and delicious food and it's a go-to for sure! Venison Pie, Duck Confit, Penne Pasta and more was enjoyed by all. Highly recommend!

Have just (very reluctantly!) returned from a midweek break to The Inn on the Tay. We cannot praise this place highly enough. First-class accommodation, absolutely stunning location, superb breakfasts and dinners. From checking in, throughout our stay, to checking out, all the staff including the owners could not be more accommodating and friendly. Personal touch and attention to detail spot... More

This was our second visit here, first time B and B ,this time it was D B and B. The rooms were very good and spacious and no complaints about them. Our only complaint was the length of time that we had to wait for our evening meals. The staff were all very nice but we were over a hour and... More

Came here for dinner as we were staying nearby at Bendarroch House. We had pre dinner drinks on the outside deck watching the canoeists & the river flow by. The service was excellent & the menu gave us plenty of choices. We all enjoyed our dinner which came with generous servings.

We have been regular visitors to the Aberfeldy area over many years so this review is based upon our most recent visits which usually totalled three in the two week holiday we recently enjoyed. However, we only visited The Inn on the Tay once for a meal. This is in an ideal location a few miles out to the east... More

We adore this pub, the food is always incredible, the welcome always homely and the children love playing outside (whether watching the canoeists or playing on the slides and swings). Their fish and chips and the bowl of mussels are fabulous!!! Everyone we have taken to the pub love it, really can't recommend the pub enough, my only regret is... More

Our first but definitely not last visit to this lovely inn! We had room 3 which was a spacious double with an additional small double cabin bed in an alcove, oh to be a child again!! The room was nicely decorated in neutral with a comfy bed, if I had to pick a negative it would have been the small... More
