This was our first visit to the hotel and overall we had a great time; friendly staff, dog friendly and lovely grounds. We also borrowed bikes to go down to the loch with our dog. Only downside regarding the rooms was no menus available, no internet and no phone in room to call Reception. The burgers we had were pretty... More

We stayed for a couple of nights in one of the basic rooms recently. Good sized bed, decent breakfast, good location for exploring surrounding area. Only issue was lack of fast internet, but I that was about to be fixed according to a note left in the bedroom by the management. I'm not docking points for that, as its Scotland... More

I hadn't visited Ardeonaig for eight years and booked a one night treat for my son and I, to celebrate his great university results. The new owners did everything in their powers to ensure we enjoyed oursleves. Our room had been upgraded into the garden cottage and with its expansive bathroom and large bedroom with views over Ben Lawyers was... More

Booked this for our 2nd anniversary, long trip from Liverpool but well worth the drive. After finally finding the hotel up a long narrow road the staff kindly told us we had been upgraded to an outside lodge.Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful,no televisions at all.Food was amazing. One small blip was waiting for breakfast for 45 mins on our 1st morning, but the new owners... I was whisked away to this magical little spot on Loch Tay for a birthday surprise. Not one part of this trip disappointed! The room, which was very nice, looked out onto the Loch situated at the bottom of the grounds, the food was outstanding on both evenings (the venison was cooked spot on) and the cherry panacotta... wow! The... More

This was our fifth visit to the Ardeonaig, and the first time that we had stayed in one of the garden bothies. The room was beautiful: private, spacious, comfortable and with a fabulous bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. No bathrobes, which we missed. We sat in the evening sun outside the bothy with the most amazing views of the... More

My wife and I had scaled Ben Lawers and the reward was a meal out. What better place to choose than the Ardeonaig Hotel, with a stunning view of Ben Lawers across Loch Tay. Excellent food and service and a great welcome, at a fair price. Good luck to Ian and the team.

A family have taken over ownership 6 weeks ago and are doing a great job. We stayed 4 nights during the week with a baby and a dog. They were very friendly and welcoming. It is a beautiful location. Food was excellent.

We stayed here on Saturday night in Wild Salmon, a 'studio' room, large, spacious and very comfortable but poorly appointed. No TV, no clock/radio, no telephone (and no mobile signal), no bathrobes, no bath mat. There is no wifi but we could live without for one night. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Tay and Ben Lawers,... More
