We just came from paradise! Four private beaches, luxurious accommodations & excellent food. The french toast for breakfast was so heavenly I had it almost every single morning. And check out sunset!!

Location is amazing. Belongs to Jimmy Goldsmith's siter. Has a private landing strip. Did not see the rooms but locarion is amazing. Beach a bit rough but they have other beaches. Good for waves. Food was good but could have been a level better. Needs a Michelin touch or something a bit more innovative. Service excellent

This is one of the best hotels I have been in my life, it is far from all! They treat you like family, you really fees the warmth and all the staff knows you name. The property has 4 private beaches that you can set aside for yourself and have all for you and your loved ones. The experience begins... More

This place is unique and amazing, but needs some serious work. I'll detail all of this below. Starting with THE GOOD: - The resort itself is gorgeous. You're right on the beach. The place has the perfect blend of simple elegance and great, timeless design. Nothing cheesy about this place, and I'm in love with all the pops of pink.... More

The resort Las Alamandas is very private, somewhat isolated, relatively small and extremely well run. Hats off to the owner, Isabel, who had the vision to share her amazing property with the travelers by creating this spectacular resort. We stayed at the beachside villa named Isabel. The views are stunning. The furniture, amenities and the housekeeping service need commendation. The... More

My husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this fabulous resort. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the perfect place. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff extremely helpful and attentive, and the decor & amenities in our suite were complete perfection. What I specifically loved about this resort is in all its luxury,... More

Wow! This place is a stunner. Gorgeous palapa open air dining area down by the ocean, bonfires on the beach at night, a small pool, and donkeys for the kids! Rooms are huge, as are bathrooms. Very clean and bright with lots of pink everywhere! Some rooms have their own private plunge pools, or hot tubs and balconies. The location... More

Just back from five heavenly days at Las Alamandas, Isabel Goldsmith Patino’s secluded and safe luxury resort a two-hour drive south of Puerto Vallarta. My advice: ask the hotel (reservation office) to arrange a car transfer from the airport. No need for you to have your own vehicle once you are there. None of the activities that my husband and... Completely isolated from big tourist areas, the perfect place for romance, privacy, rest and total disconnection (even from technology). Its' several beaches offer various options for exploring, swimming, the nature and animals are awesome. Wish there were no kids, we didn't know they were allowed in the hotel (since there is only 1 big pool, there is no way to... More

We were looking for a romantic area in which to unwind. We wanted a luxurious feeling, and wanted the ability to explore. This boutique resort offered this, plus much more. I was able to go online and view all of the 16 suites offered, and I was able to get the one I had wanted. We had a spacious suite... More

Las Alamandas is an exclusive resort situated on 1,500 acres within a private estate on the Pacific coast and is a pristine nature reserve. It is Mexico's ultimate escape! This secluded haven, named by many magazines as one of the most romantic hotels of the world, was designed and developed by Isabel Goldsmith-Patino. It offers to its guest's luxury, comfort and the highest standards of personalized hospitality in an exquisite setting.Las Alamandas was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest and was chosen by The Robb Report 100 as one of "Earth's Most Exclusive Retreats". It is not a diamond in the rough, it is an exquisite jewel on the Costalegre. Managed like an elegant private estate where guests feel completely at home. The resort is ideal for a romantic getaway, intimate honeymoons, unique family reunions and spectacular beach weddings. Seven villas luxuriously designed for gracious indoor-outdoor living and beautifully appointed suites offer privacy, comfort and accommodate up to 42 guests. The clients are such as Brad Pitt, Sting and Trudie Styler, Maxwell, and Cindy Crawford. Robert de Niro has taken the entire hotel for the Christmas holidays several times. With a clientele of many celebrity guests and Fortune 500 CEO's, the hotel is often rented out in its entirety for a special event and is a favorite location for fashion shoots. Guests can enjoy gourmet Contemporary Mexican Cuisine featuring a fusion of finest Mexican recipes prepared with fresh and organic ingredients, fresh seafood and produce grown on-property. Meals are served at the "Oasis" restaurant, at the main Beach Club "La Palapa "overlooking the Pacific Ocean, in the privacy of your suite or as a gourmet-picnic on one of the four private beaches. Guests can indulge with spa treatments and massages to the sound of the Pacific. They can enjoy horseback riding at sunset, kayaking on the lagoons, take bicycle tours or hike to Look-out Point or simply sunbathe by the pool or take a siesta gently swaying in one of the many hammocks.
