MMT is perfect for unplugging and resetting. The food is amazing (vegetarians & pescatarians will be happy :-) The management & staff were friendly and kind to us. Spa recommended for relaxation <3 <3
This was a beautiful and lovely resort. The views were amazing, especially the sunset and the sandy beach across from us where we was overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The peace of the wind and waves was just like in a movie. At first I was sceptical when I heard about the compost toilet and open showers with your room but it was so clean and well kept and so was the open warm showers in the hot sun!! Devine, one of the best things there, wished we could've stayed longer. The staff are all amazing and friendly people, very helpful. As for the food it's like mommy just cooked a proper home cooked meal. Same goes for the people we met at the resort friendly interaction. Definitely go if you manage to get a booking as people were staying for longer period of times and with good reason to.…

The place is extremely nice, relaxed atmosphere and kind people. There is no AC in the room, but the sea breeze is enough. Food is good and fresh. Boat trip on the river is also very recommended. You can also have a massage in the SPA with the view on the lagoon. Definitely worth a visit!
This Eco-Lodge was a great experience which would I would recommend to everyone. With only 3 hours away from Accra it gives a great alternative to the busy city. It is easily accessible by car but also with public service. With great affordable prices they offer rooms up to Suites designed in order to be eco friendly with an outdoor shower and a compost toilets. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. The lodge gives you the opportunity to not only swim in the lagoon but also relax with a massage or beach walk, discover the beauty of Ghana’s mangroves on a boat tour or play games with friends and family. All in all it was a wonderful stay I will definitely repeat the next time I visit Ghana.
My friend and I took a weekend trip out of Accra and had no trouble booking this place or finding it by private car. We were greeted by everyone- the managers Doug & Christian were very accommodating. The room was ready, clean, easy peezy processes to participate in activities, order food, get updates, etc. The mission of MMT is also tied to a great cause and you can immediately tell that it is an anchor to the community. The staff are all friendly and professional. Food and drinks were delish. The cabanas/shared spaces were all comfortable and I simply cannot express in words the beauty of this property and natural lagoon. I would highly recommend and stay again, and again, and again. Be advised that the mattresses are very firm, which is the case throughout most of Ghana. However, it was easy enough to fall asleep to the light breeze and relaxing sounds of the ocean. My friend and I travelled to MMT during COVID19 and felt the protocols were observed by all.…
We lived in Ghana for 2 years and this was the best place we stayed. Very chilled and comfortable! And you have to try the Espresso Martini’s! If you come to Ghana, you MUST stay here. Amazing staff too :)
The views exceeded expectations and the lodge was set for us to enjoy nature at every turn. Dougal and Christian, the managing directors, were a joy to meet. Both brought lots of local knowledge of the area. The midnight views on the ocean shore were divine.
Spent 2 nights in the honeymoon suite. Everything it meticulously kept up. The compost toilets were cleaner than normal toilets (and smelled better). The activities were fun - went on the river canoe ride, which was pretty relaxing, you get to see a lot of homes along the river owned by random wealthy businessmen, and then you stop on an island for a drink, and where you can chase wild pigs around on the beach until you get tired. The staff is super friendly but the best thing about the place is the food. Most of the dishes were unique homemade recipes (they have the traditional Ghanaian dishes as well). Every single thing was delicious - and we used to live in New York (world's food capital). Oh, and the drinks were also NYC quality. Stay here if you can help it, worth it!…
