We arrived just after 11.30am [our first visit] A sign on the front door showed 'open 11.30',but the door was locked, we entered by a side door ,and the cook said the Landlord had gone out. Just before noon the Landlady appeared .On his arrival the Landlord was friendly and spoke to all the customers. The menu was varied but... More

A gang of thirsty hungry travellers stopped off at the Dusty Miller for lunch and a few pints. The food was excellent and the service first class .Adrian and his staff worked like Trojans to keep us supplied with drink throughout our stay .Would definitely recoomend this spot to anyone. Thanks for a great Sunday lunch time

The Sunday lunch our family of six had at The Dusty Miller was fantastic. It was our first visit but certainly not our last. The staff were helpful and well informed about the menu. The quality of the roasted meats and vegetables was first class. The real ale was local and discerningly selected. A surprise treat was the minted gravy... More

Just been back to the Dusty Miller after quite a long time, was very pleasantly surprised. The carvery has always been good but let down a bit by the surroundings, now that has all changed, nice new decor and if anything an even better food choice at very good prices, would recommend it to anyone. 😃

I have visited Dusty Miller for the second time today & again I was not disappointed. The Host Adrian was very attentive, took the time to talk to us, explaining the menu, the food was spot on in-particular the mackerel scotch egg..... Not a combo I have ever tried before but it was a taste sensation. The carvery (especially the... More

Easy to get to after visiting the Peak District. When entering the pub a member of staff warmly greets you and asks who you are. Checking in was very quick, having to just write your name and address in the sign in book. Shown to my room upstairs and given key. Access to rooms and outside is via the fire... More

Very pleased with Dusty Miller accommodation (twin room) would normally book a double but last room left so happy to get it especially as we could take our small dog with us, which was a bonus. Pleasant small room with lovely views. Very lively pub, good atmosphere and stayed to listen to rock band, which were great. Early to bed... More

We went tonight for our tea and had some great food off of the Menu. The kids meals are great value and was really decent food with some nice thick home made chips. Me and my partner really enjoyed ours and we would recommend to anyone. Great choice of food, including a good range of specials. All of this was... More

Second visit here and we enjoyed another lovely meal. Staff cant do enough for you but without being pushy and in your face. Excellent food and good choice on the menu, hubby was very impressed with the selection of local real ales. We will be back....
