Luckily, we stayed only one night here. Large rooms and good view (well, it is just a lake after all !) but really smelt like a mould and must. Impossible to get hot water in the shower in the morning (in the two booked rooms...). Any B&B will be better !

If you are looking for a short stay, and is not relying on public transport... I think this is a best bet. My family loved the view outside the window... True Scottish Highlands view... The Jacobite cruise is just opposite to the hotel saving travel n parking headaches. However, the hotel in itself is just average. The breakfast was OK,...

Stayed here for 2 nights on my leave about a month ago. Out of season so the hotel was very quiet. Perfectly situated 3/4 up the west coast of Loch Ness. Its literally right on the loch, with a small harbour directly opposite for the boat trips around the loch and castle. The breakfast is great, (Lovely view of the...

To start with the good points: the location directly at Loch Ness is nice and when you get the right room you have a good view of the lake. Directly opposite the hotel is a little pier for a tourist boat but you can although walk a bit on the shore if you don't mind the stones. The breakfast is...

Fantastic views overlooking the Loch for breakfast. The rooms are quite outdated but for somewhere to stop in it does the job. Very handy location to Inverness and other places nearby as it is situated on the main road.

I have been wanting to visit this place for years so where else but on it, with a view. This hotel was reasonable in price with a two night stay deal which included breakfast. Situated across from the harbour where you can get a trip on the Loch it also includes a Loch Ness gift shop which is amazing. The...

Really enjoyed our recent stay here. Big spacious room overlooking the Loch. The staff were lovely and dinners were delicious. Cruise goes from the hotel which is great and not far to the Discovery centre by car. Only small thing was that the TV signal in our room was pants but didn't bother us too much.

I think the title of my review says it all. The hotel has an incredible view of the Loch and access to the Lochside via a small under road walkway. It really is a great spot with ample parking to the front. Unfortunately the inside of the hotel just feels a bit sad and unloved. That's not to say it's...
