The hosts are the absolute best - it's such a joy to come across people so happy to share their home with strangers, and so good at doing so! More importantly, they have a great setup in an area with really scarce accommodation options, so if you're in their corner of the world, you'll be very lucky if you choose to stay with them.

Breakfast fantastic and made with care, rooms spotless and thoughtfully designed.

The point another reviewer made about heat might be relevant during the day (why on earth anyone comes to this part of the world to stay inside their room is beyond me) but at night it cools down even in the height of summer, and makes for a great peaceful sleep.

Adorable dogs.

What a relaxing place! What a lovely atmosphere! A special place! This place was created with a lot of love. Everything was built by the owner himself, works of art everywhere, organic shapes, lots of clay, lots of green. A lovely pool, lots of places to retreat to. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good Argentinian breakfast and very nice owners. You shouldn't just stay one night!

Really good expérience, owners are just wonderfull and the place is beautifull ! It was fun to leave on these tipicals houses made un bio construction. Also is really great to see how the owners build their beautifull house in contact with nature.

With 15 reviews all Excellent and USD 70 a night which is a very high price in Argentina I had high expectations. The first thing to note that all the photos of buildings on this site are of the owners house where you spend 30 minutes a day to eat breakfast. This is not the accommodations
There is no doubt the hosts a friendly and helpful and offer a simple but tasty breakfast in their home. If only the accommodations were to the same standard as their home!
The rooms are spacious and well built with attractive tiles in the bathroom and acceptable beds but there is no cooling. Not even a fan. Heat builds up to uncomfortable levels. The small window opens on to a dusty road and the double entrance doors have no insect screens.
The only seating is a single old dining chair. No comfortable place to sit and read. No refrigerator. No place to make tea or coffee. Not even a glass in the bathroom. The room opens on to gravel under the porch area and beyond that a dirt path. The surrounding area is a mess. Unkempt and untidy. Bits of wood and stones scattered randomly about. Nothing relaxing about the place. Work in progress maybe?

My friend and I spent a week here in July of 2018. This place was more than we could have dreamed of. The buildings and projects have been completed and worked on are something out a fairytale land. The structures are so beautiful and inspiring to what we could build homes like. Every night my friend and I walked up to the mirador and watched the sunset over the Andes.

I grew up in the city and so the farm experience was another wonderful aspect. We spent some time walking around and checkout out all the animals. While we were there the farm got two peacocks and we got to witness first hand a llama being born. As well as go on a a horse back with a great view of both mountain ranges.

Eating breakfast was with Antonio, lila, and their kids was great. They were so welcoming and friendly and went out of their way for us to feel acomodares and welcomed into their home. Really just super easy people to be around. They helped us several times find a place go place to eat and grab a drink around the area.

All of this combined to make this a really authentic and experience. This is a place I plan on returning to and also also telling friends and family about.

We had an amazing time at La Comarca. It’s not exactly in the town center so its perfect to relax and really disconnect. The rooms are very comfortable, nicely decorated and spotless. The whole place has a very original design and built by the owners. The couple who run the place were super friendly and helpful, they adapted to our needs and showed us around the area and even showed us some exciting bike trails. The energy of the La Comarca and Antonio’s family is unique, I highly recommend it for a relaxing break or to use as base for an adventure holiday.
