I have recently returned from a two day break at Burnfoot House in Ardrossan and below is my honest review along with some tips on the local area. I was on my own and paid £35 per night on B&B in a twin room at the back of house. I beleive the other rooms look out onto the beach and... More

My friend booked me into this lovely family-run guest house by the see in Ardrossan on the mouth of the Clyde, looking out onto the splendid Arran island. My bright, comfortable and spacious room was a delight. The bathroom and shower just outside the bedroom was spotlessly clean. Cooked, Scottish breakfast was copious, enough to keep you going until your... More

So delighted I found this B and B on Trip Advisor and booked to stay here while up in Scotland to see family. Anne and Robert are wonderful hosts and I was made to feel truly welcome. My daughter and I stayed here in April on our way to a cycling holiday using the ferries at Ardrossan. There are just three rooms - quiet, large, comfortable and nicely furnished, on their own floor with a shared bathroom; two of the rooms have lovely sea views. Our host was so kind and hospitable, made breakfast early for us... More

A great find in Ardrossan! Ann and Robert are such friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are spacious, with uninterrupted views over the water to the Isle of Arran. A comfortable leather sofa is in the bay window, so that I can enjoy the view, as I am writing this review. The whole property is immaculately... More

You will find excellent hospitality with Ann & Robert and a great breakfast too! Fabulous views from the Turret room and a very comfortable bed. Regular local bus services close by, very convenient for the ferry - a 15 minutes walk and a secure lock-up for bicycles. Highly recommend this B & B

I was lucky enough to spend two nights here whilst attending a wedding in Ardrossan. The property is beautiful (immaculately clean) and is matched with its stunning views! This place is a true gem, Ann is the most charming host and nothing is to much trouble, she will ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons.
