Read some great reviews about this B&B and wasn't disappointed. Lovely warm welcome from Grace. Stayed in the family room for 2 nights. Room was spacious and beautifully clean. Breakfast was great, perfectly cooked and definitely set you up for the day. Grace recommended the Sea & Soil restaurant which was amazing. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely welcome from Grace and the family room was great; spacious,a fantastic outlook over the harbour and, unusually nowadays, two very comfortable easy chairs. Good breakfasts completed a very enjoyable stay and we were reluctant to leave. Our reluctance was increased by the two dinners we had had at The Old Boat House restaurant just along the quay. Sublime... More

We spent two nights at Coquetside in a double room with personal bathroom (but not en-suite). The owners were away and we were looked after by one of their friends. Sadly her name escapes me, but she was welcoming and very friendly, without being 'over the top' The breakfast was magnificent! All produce for the cooked breakfast was fresh and... More

We stayed in the family room no 1. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Added bonus was the balcony overlooking the harbour that we sat in during early evening with a glass of wine and later to watch the sun going down. Grace produced a very hearty breakfast with lots of choices along with info on local restaurants for... More

We spent a weekend at The Coquetside B&B in Amble recently. The couple that run it were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, contemporary furnished to a high standard and in keeping with the rest of the establishment very clean. Breakfast was excellent. We would be happy to stay there again.

A great B and B booked at the last minute after our email was answered very quickly. Both owners friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Immaculate and very comfortable ensuite bedroom, gorgeous views across the harbour with Walkworth Castle. Easy parking with good access to the rest of the town and other places of interest.
